It doesn't sound like a good idea. Not having actual buttons to press is going to cause massive problems. You can;t play properly on a touch screen. You need to be able to identify the buttons by feel.

The idea of a universalcontroller is great I can saveso muchmoney on this. Though its a little late considering I alreadyown a full set of controllers for my consoles.

EDIT: nvm I looked too fast didn't realise it was a touch screen concept.

It seems rather pointless really. The Dual Shock, 360 pad, and C@ssic controller have similar enough layouts that you could emulate them without a fancy touch screen. And this couldn't emulate the Wiimote anyways.

Sony isn't going to make this. They only filed it so if anyone else does they can demand royalties.

Probably through those names in their so they can't copy it.
