Not assuming anything about Sony, but one thing I am assuming is that you must be still be confused as to why you don't own a 360 - especially after reading your sig which reads: :roll:Owning a Wii and PS3 is great! It's getting them online that's the pain!:roll: So what I am going to assume is that you've just never heard of the Xbox 360. Too bad. Anyways, back to the topic.... :twisted:

Do you guys remember when that news story broke about that kid stabbing a thief trying to take his PS3?

Expect a lot of stabbage if this lawsuit is successful. All I'm sayin'.

It's not too early to tell. The lawsuit assumes that the firm has exclusive licensing to create products using parallel processing with "shared memory." I know for a fact the Cell is not the only parallel processor in existence. I went Wikipedia searching and confirmed that. Parallel processing is extremely common. Extremely, extremely common. This lawsuit is total, complete, and utter BS. There is 0 possibility of being successful in even a single one of their objectives and I think it's unlikely the firm "Parallel Processing Inc" even exists.

Additionally, it totally tagged the wrong target. The Cell was a joint development effort by Toshiba, IBM, and Sony. Yet Sony was singled out...what the hell? Why, because they have the only million-selling product already?

This is just frighteningly stupid. Frighteningly stupid. There is nothing of merit in this lawsuit.

What is up with all these posts about lawsuits?

So evertime someone sues MS are we going to spam the forum for a week on how they are doomed? How many lawsuits are currently against MS that we don't even know about right now? I doubt it will ever impact anything.

Just like the supposed huge lawsuit against the PS2......it was so huge the only time I heard of it was when I came here to SW last year lol.

Yea, with electric cars. There's a great documentary on it... not sure of the name though. Basically the gov said we could lease them, years later president says we can't have them anymore, and something like 90% of the cars were repossessed and destroyed to makethe oil companies happy.

It must benice to have selective memory.....you have already forgotten MS 2 billion loss just last year as well as the billions they have lost years prior.

When you say "losses get bigger...and bigger...and bigger..." it would describe the Xbox brand much more accurately than the Playstation brand.

That doesn't mean much in this day and age, our judicial system is frighteningly stupid as well, in terms of community and social grace, our country is falling rapidly. We can not sustain ourselves at our current rate of decline, logic is mainlygone, our rights are being challenged, andour courts are being held up by this crap. Patent infringement traps are complete BS, when someone can put a patent on an idea or concept that they themselves have no effing idea how to make happen... there is something severally wrong in this country : (

Killzone better than Halo? What were the scores for those two games? Killzone 2 better than Halo 3? Please, enlighten me as to why, seeing as you MUST have surely played both games. :D
