Sony Poor BC efforts causing more problem than anticipated.

Come on Sony fix this shit. Not only this game but so many games that missed out on proper next gen support cause of some weird BC programing or policy. How hard is it for PS5 ver to detect and use custom settings.

By the way not to get confused, the release version is the BC version. Next gen ver is on the way ~

There is a Xbox team dedicated to getting these boosted 120fps back compat games running correctly. PlayStation doesn't do that, or offer the tools to devs to make it happen. Xbox deserves all the credit in the world for their all around support so far this gen. I really wish they had the production end figured out, because this console race would be far more interesting if they could match, or exceed the hardware output of the competition.

Yeah I find it pretty disappointing how they currently view backwards compatibility. They have such a rich history of great games from their previous generations of hardware that they could tap into and really take advantage of.

it runs 4k60 while one X is 4k30 if I am not mistaken. Looking at bright side PS5 ver should be perfect 60fps 😂😭

Time is stopping them from having a native ps5 version out at launch, they obviously prioritized the versions that most buyers will be playing the game on. You even pin pointed the issue yourself, ps5 version needs a dedicated sku to be able to take more benefits of the new hardware, Xbox fares better in that regard when it comes to running last gen sku's.

Hopefully the next gen update won't take too long, it sucks but it is what it is. But we were playing 1080p games until recently and nobody died or went blind from it.

If the deranged anti Xbox crew spent more time demanding from the brand they actually want to buy a console from instead of attacking Xbox because "no one wants to play old games" maybe they would end up with a better console and services.

They have PS2 on PS4 classics like GTA's and dark cloud an stuff do you even have a ps4?

That is backwards compatibile being able to play old games on a new system...you have to rebuy physical games on xs s it doesn't have a disc drive its still BC tho you just have to rebuy old games without upgrades while on ps4 you rebuy them and got a ton of upgrades
