Did Sony get their inspiration to develop the PS3 from a pile of s***?
First off they force us to have Blu-Ray, which isn't really used as all 360 games have been made on a DVD and still support HD visuals and massive amount of content. Okay the PS3 can play Blu-Ray movies but why not just make an attachment like the 360 so instead of being forced to pay extra for a technology that may not even be around for very long we get a choice.
Not only that not many people own a HDTV so how many people actually own one that is capable of 1080p output? again they should have left out the Blu-Ray player for that very reason. Not only that if Blu-Ray technology does provail then better stand-a-lone players will be more affordable
Second the european PS3 is somewhat limited in its backwards compatibility so I also feel I'm getting ripped off there too! Not only that Sony stick some lame ass motion sensing on the controller to try and counter Nintendo's motion sensing on the Wii.
Third, many so called playstation exclusives have gone Multiplatform so why should I pay more for a console that is barely better than the much cheaper 360 and getting identical games apart from the odd sony published title? Sorry but the benefits of owning a PS3 are very limited in comparison to the competition at the moment.
Maybe once a price drop happens and Blu-Ray becomes the format of choice and also better games become available this could change. There is potential but the early signs are very bleak for the PS3.
