Sony: "Do we have an RPG in the works right now? No."

1up just did an interview with Sony Vice President of Product Development Scott Rohde. In the interview he said that while he was looking torwards "opportunities" that Sony did not have an rpg in the works. Look i understand that they want to compete with MS and have great fps. But lets look at why millions of people had a ps1 and ps2. Sony had the best rpgs for the ps1 and ps2. That's why I had both systems. The main reason that I bought a 360 2 years ago was for Gears of War. I had no idea that the xbox would soon be the rpg king. There is no reason why there is not more rpgs in development for the ps3. Why are more companies not coming to the table and making them for sony. I want to get a ps3. Little big planet and a Blue Ray player for my HDTV would be sweet. But what about the role playing games?

and second yes it is in dead last but it has been outselling the 360, not only in june most most of the moths for 08. it will catch the 360 and pass it

Exactly. I don't know why this math is so hardfor some to understand...

Sony just had a great month thanks to MGS4. They outsold MS by 200k. If they outsold them by 200k from here on out, it would take them just over 2 years to catch up. What's the likeliness of that happening? And if it did, MS would probably be launching the next Xbox by then anyway.
