Shouldn't they be worried about their $5 Billion loss right now? Shouldn't they also be worried about how the PS3 is going to be in the black off of each PS3 sold so that they won't end up pulling the PS3 out of the market like Sega did with the Saturn & Dreamcast & what MS did with the original X-Box?
I for one totally expected Sony to say something along the lines of:
"We're ****ed. Our ball-on-a-stick is just a Wii rip-off. And have you seen Natal? It doesn't even need a controller! How cool is that!?!? Man, I hope I get a 360 for Christmas..."
Lol yeah that sounds exactly like company representatives :PSony, MS and Nintendo don't make the bulk of their money or anything close to it off of Hardware. They make their money off of Software which is why it's been a standard practice to sell consoles at a loss. Do you honestly think the tiny profit MS is making off of Xbox 360 hardware means much or even matches how much they lost selling it for a loss for the couple of years. Of course not, but when you factor in Live fees, DLC fees, accessories and software royalties now you see where they get their money. The same goes for Sony with PSN content, accessories, software royalties and now thanks to the PS3, Blu Ray royalties. Don't worry about Sony, they have a lot more experience at making a profit over time in the gaming industry then you or MS.Shouldn't they be worried about their $5 Billion loss right now? huh? what was sloppily thrown together? are you talking about the ps3 with its 2400 baud modem, 8 megs of hard drive space and punch card reader?
I disagree. The reason why most Wii games are trash is because the developers aren't taking the games seriously. They just want to get something out to market quickly.motion sensing ill stay away from, its one of the reasons i dont play my wii *and the fact most wii games are trash*

The Xbox 360 failed in the hardware department and the PS3 failed in the value department. All failures are in the process of being corrected.

Really? Even with PSP & PS2 system sales, as well as PSP, PS2, & PS3 games, accessories, & downloads combined, it's nowhere near enough to cover that amount of money. Plus they don't exactly make a whole lot of money off of each Blu-Ray sold. MS does, since each Blu-Ray disc has their VC-1 codec on each of them.
As for MS, they've been making plenty of money off of the 360's since late '06. Not only that, they also make money off of Live, games, accessories, & Windows, & of course, off of each Blu-Ray disc sold. Plus Sony doesn't own Blu-Ray, nor do they get a lot of money from it. Plus neither MS, Nintendo, or Sony makes back the full $50-$60 off of each game being sold. Face it, Sony can't continue to lose money off of their gaming division forever. Not to mention that MS has TONS of more billions than Sony does.

Just what I thought as well.

Someone save this article to bring up when Sony decides to copy Microsoft and Natal like they're doing to Nintendo currantly...
I see no reason why, with smart developing, that as long as the hardware lives up to what MS has shown, Natal will be the next wave of gaming.
When Nintendo doesn't make core gamers happy, they admit that they failed. When Sony manages to lose 5 billion dollars in 3 years, they brag about possibly making a profit in 2011. Ok...I wonder how loud mouthed they will be when both sphere and natal fails

im talking about how it has the hardware to do more then the 360, but since no one over there seems to be able to write an os for it. its limited by its own software. its nowhere near close to a 360 as a multitaskerAll of them have already been corrected. :|[QUOTE="Trmpt"][QUOTE="Burning-Sludge"]
