Its $80 in North America, €90 in europe and probably rest of the world excluding japan.

Its probably cause nintendo hide physical price of physical games in US, so people assumed base pricing as similar to euro pricing which was revealed. Nintendo only confirmed US pricing later, likely after getting backlash of euro pricing.

It was very terrible of them to do and deserved a lot of backlash. It's a damn shame that social media ride along the misinformation and everyone believes physical games are $90.

Hard pass for me - but the price isn’t that shocking for what you get given the price of games now. i guess my question is who is this really for? People who love tlou enough to want this probably already own the games and have beat them before, so the money mostly goes towards the package (which makes it a much less good value than if you havent actually played the games).

But I suppose there must be some holdouts out there who would benefit from buying the games themselves

I just think they're trying to get those that still haven't played the games yet

Look, I'm not buying it, but 2 remasters special editions with a steel book for $109.99 is only $10 more than it ever used to be... that's the same $10 upcharge as $59.99 to $69.99, but at a lower raised percentage... just be glad they didn't try to justify $119.99.

Sony need to recoup a few quid seeing as Xbox have taken over playstation and cows are making Xbox studios pre order charts toppers......that said there may be still a bit milk left in the udders for saps to buy this......but my guess is playstation owners are saving their money to pay Xbox for Doom the dark ages

Seems it is 100 dollars in the US and 110 euro in the EU.

Seems like we may be seeing the same confusion we saw with the Nintendo Switch 2 game pricing. Either way. 100 USD/110 euro for a 2 old games is ridicilous.

Games in the EU now just cost 10 extra euro over dollars. Whether that is on the Switch, Xbox or Playstation.

Games costing 10 more euro than they do dollars is pretty much the norm nowadays. Doom Dark Ages costs 80 euro over here for example, same with Call of Duty, and yes even this bundle (from what I could gather, TLOU collection costs 100 in the US).

Those 2 games are 80/70 dollars physical in the US. If you are looking at european game costs and tryign to gauge the US price based on them, always subtract 10 dollars off the european price.

Get out of here. If Nintendo did a collection like this, it would cost twice what this does and you'd buy three.

it might be time to consider the idea that the PS4 generation of "bangers" was a one-off.. maybe PlayStation Studios has actually been overrated as evidenced by this PS5 generation of 1st party support..

because damn, they are milking every drop out of The Last of Us, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and other rereleases of PS4 games..

The last of us as a franchise may be the greatest milking of any intellectual property I've ever seen... No franchise has such little content and resells it ad nauseum... At least franchises like AC offer plethora of games.... The last of us is two 15 to 20 hour games.
