Sony should admit the PS3 is fundamentally flawed.

I think Sony Bosses should finally admit that there is a design flaw in the PS3 that they can put right but it makes most of the ones slready sold useless.

I have had deep suspitions for a long time now that as the owner of both systems it just does not have what it takes.

I know all the recent games have been written for the 360 first and then ported which is why they look so poor but even all the new releases like the Sega Rally demo looks terrible compared with the demo on the Xbox360.

Nothing is released when thay say it will, i have had my suspicions for some time that there is a problem as when you have both to compare sisde by side it is just a poorer system every time, the graphics are just sub standard to the 360.

Try to look at a game that is created for the PS3 only or was developed with the PS3 in mind and not just an Xbox360 port and you will have to admit that it looks mostly equally or sometimes even better than the Xbox360 graphics.

If any console is flawed, it will be the one that has to be repaired every 2 months.

I would rather have a console I have to send back once every 6 months to get repaired but play all the time than one I never have to get fixed but i never turn on.

Some people clearly have not got both systems and are just siding with what they have put there money on to make themselves feel better about the money they have speant, well own both and you will see what i mean, the 360 clearly kicks the arse of the PS3 and its not about quantity of games it is about quality and alas for the PS3 it has neither.

The only flaw has been their strategy. Their is nothing wrong with the PS3 aside from getting the dev kits out too late.

The flaw was using PS3 as a marketing tool to drive their BR format. If they would have just concentrated on the game part, they wouldn't be struggling right now. I do think once it's $399 it'll get a lot better but it shouldn't have taken two price reductions to get it rolling.

Lack of games really hurt the PS3. High profile, system-selling titles. And like you said, Sony hasn't shown anybody why Blu-Ray is needed for gaming, as of yet. Sure, the extra space is nice, but when next-gen games on regular DVD format already cost $20-40 million dollars, how does one expect a dev to use all that extra space when the game is so much already?

What OWNAGE? You Cows are GREATLY overstating the prevalence of the RRODs and trying to find something, nay ANYTHING, to try to justify the $600 + mistake that is sitting next to your televisions doing NOTHING! He stopped playing RFOM and Motorstorm ages ago. He rented HS and he said it was just Ok. He is playing Warhawk, but the #$^% is always over at my house, playing CoD4 and Halo3 (he thinks that Warhawk is crap compared to COD4). I don't mind him using my 360...I just hate the fact that he is eating all my food and drinking all my beer. That might be the reason he has not switched over - he has easy access to a 360 right now so he can afford to wait and see if things improve for Sony.

Maybe things will change when CoD4 is released. I just hope that this is not another one of those cross-platform titles that suck on the PS3 because I'm tired of feeding this Cow.

yep, Heavenly Short looks great, and Lair...um - never mind.

I would rather spend my money on something built with quality in mind over something that could stop working at any time from day one. The reason I don't care for domestic automobiles over a good reliable import, like a Acura/Honda or even a Hyundi (it has nothing to do with money for me) it has more to do with quality of a product.

With the exception of COD4 there isn't anything on the 360 that looks as good as Killzone 2. As platforms their qualities are virtually identical to the naked eye, depends on the dev's how things turn out.tomarlyn
