Sony spits on cows so many times but still....

Philosophy: Loyalty between brand and consumer should ideally be mutual. If a brand respects and is loyal to the custommer, the custommer has no reason not to be respectful and loyal to a brand.

One thing I'll hand to Sony custommers is that they've stayed loyal and respectful despite recieving little of the same in return.

If microsoft/nintendo would do that to me then the last thing i would do is stand up for them.

1. some have speculated sony has people that post here for marketting.  With sony's history of dishonest marketting tactics, i wouldn't be suprised.

2. many of the gamers who are loyal to sony are young... too young to really understand the importance of accountability in business.

I don't understand how anyone could be a hardcore fanboy really, all the companies tell lies to their fans or do something unfair. But it is cows who get betrayed the most; Sony have given out too many low blows to their fans

meanwhile, at playstation events you see kids dressed up like metrosexual jrpg characters...

not to mention sony's count of T rated games versus the 360's M rated games...

the problem is "most adults" are smart enough not to pay $600 for toy, proven by the poor ps3 sales.

but kids can't afford ps3, see most ps3 fans now are adults because they have probably grew up with ps from ps1 to ps2 over 10 years or more and now have jobs to save up for ps3, thats what i'm doing about summer time, i'm just saying thas the way it is over here

I have never had a problem with a Sony console, (well my ps2 no longer plays dvd movies though it plays games fine) or a nintendo console.

Yet my 360 is a heap of glitching scrap. I trust companys up until they mis treat me like M$ rushbox has. I don't mind a bit of spin or hype / propaganda building. As long as i enjoy the end result.

My PS2 (all 3) still works fine, but my Playstation (original) doesn't work anymore. It lasted 8 years or so I wasn't too upset, and I already had a PSone and PS2 when it broke down. My current Xbox 360 is working fine, but I am on my second :(. The Xbox 360 is the first console I've had that has broken down within a year of me owning it

I have only had my 360 for 5 months, and it constantly freezes. It frustrates me so much I'm playing my PS2 again. I hope the Ps3 is as reliable as my others were. *crosses fingers*

nintendo made a console that wasnt even intended for their fans

but the fans still stay true to them
