If the rumors about Sony unveiling the new PS Avatar and Achievemnet system are true I find it really sad that Sony has to keep copying Nintendo and Microsoft to compete.

To be honest, I'd prefer Sony did take this idea so that people with PS3s can have a better experience. No need to be sour, because in SW either way Sony and Sony fans would lose out.

keyword "Rumors" The way I see it...M$ is copying Sony...M$ is releasing a revamped 360 to compete against the PS3..adding hdmi output,DTS-HD sound,HD Player ect...list goes on. So much for the 360 being "future proof"

I thought everyone knew that every company steals from every company. Microsoft is rumored to be attempting a motion sensing controller for the Xbox 360... now how's stealing? :roll:
It makes the system better. I don't see the problem. Besides, MS and Nintendo didn't come up with these ideas. Guess we should bash them too, or we can go about or normal routine and think expantion is good.
so much stuff from lemmings about how hah, no achievements PS3 sucks. so they implement a way of combining the good aspects of both nintendo's and x box 360's strong online points and improving on them possibly and lemmings are like "OMG THEY STOLE ACHIEVEMENTS IDEA"
yes its a similar idea but when you laugh at them for not having something so good, then say they are stealing the idea when implementing this feature which people love in a possible improved form

Would anybody really like me to go into a list of ideas that Nintendo and Microsoft stole? Microsofts whole company is based on a stolen idea. Everybody steals from everybody, its the way it goes. Neither Nintendo, MS, or Sony has invented anything that I can remember.

You shouldn't of bought one then. Ms took thier online offering from Dreamcast. Mii's are just more fancier "avatars" But they added to these ideas, and "innovated". Just like Sony does, regardless of what you think. I got an idea for you...... go post this in a thread about this same topic that is allready on the boards in stead of making a "new thread" that is taking up space. YOU STOLE THIS IDEA FOR A THREAD JUST TO BE COOL.
Sony was talking about putting together a space like myspace for a long time to build the community feartures so this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

im a 360 gamer and 360 will probably only be my only console but i think all the consoles are good i dont count this as stealing i count it as improving their console if it is slightly from other great consoles fine that is what you have to do you cant always fight clean.
