The problem with the PS3 is also it's greatest strength...It does too much. But it lacks any kind of real focus. Is it a next gen movie player or is it a next gen gaming platform? It's both but the name "Playstation" does not accurately describe the new machine. It isn't a toy and yet it has the name of one.
And the Spiderman font....W..T..F?
Personally, I like the Spiderman font and think it suits the console nicely. Also, I think SOny is just NOW starting to advertise properly with those ads that show LBP, Resistance 2 and Dark Knight projected on a number of people/trucks/etc. They need to keep that up to promote the console, and also pump out ads for their heavy hitters like Killzone 2.
Gears and Halo both had major ad campaigns. On the other hand, Killzone 2 comes out in a month and I haven't seen one single commercial or print ad.
