Sony: Vita sales boosted 100% in the UK! Will have 900 (?) titles by 2013.

Sony Hype Protection Squad Sony has been talking to MCV and have revealed that the PS Vita has seen a sales increase of 100% during our rather nice summer, with that success being partly attributed to the Vita Mega Packs, where 10 Vita games are sold for £35. Vita had a good summer, the Mega Pack is one of the things that has boosted performance by more than 100 per cent. Its now in growth year-on-year. And youve seen several pieces of news at Gamescom which will only help. So that means we can feel optimistic, said Sonys UK boss Fergal Gara. Of course the price cut for the Vita and its memory cards probably also helped, and the potential of relationship with the PS4 is also a plus, especially the Remote Play function. The interview also revealed that by the end of 2013 the Vita will have over 900 titles.

So they sold 2 vita last week?

The Vita will be fine. It's amazing what a price drop will do.

got persona 4 on my used ps2 a week ago.

If they can keep this up they could eclipse PSP success and seriously challenge Nintendo dominance in handheld market. Vita is a far more attractive offering compared to the 3DS. It's also offering a whole lot more value compared to what PSP offered versus DS. Kjranu

I think I have about 15 Vita games, to my 7 3DS games, having owned a 3DS from before the price cut.

I don't get vita. its been out for what? a year and not a single game worth purchasing... how many more years until a single good game comes out on vita?silversix_
