Sony where's the Co-op at?

Sony has some good titles Uncharted, MGS4, Killzone 2 but none of them are co-op most don't even have split-screen multiplayer. I am not saying slap on a lazy multiplayer instead of focusing on single-player but aside from Resistance 1 & 2 most of Sony's exclusives don't have it. The reverse can be said about MS with Halo 3, Gears of War, and even Fable 2.

Some people argue split-screen is the way of the past but I think we should have the option. I like playing online with friends (or random people) but I also like lan parties with groups of friends and it seems I can only play 360 because in order for that to work on PS3 each person would need their own PS3, game n tv.

Is there anyone else who wants to Sony to release more exclusive games wit co-op and/or split-screen multiplayer games?

To be honest, I really don't care all that much for co-op. Sure it's a nice feature, but just not essential IMO.

Res2 was amazing co-op, but it's not traditional co-op. I also think GG really missed a great opportunity in not having co-op in KZ2

yeah split screen is still the best and i wish they were more split screen games

If split-screen multi-player is your only requirement, there's always Haze...asylumni

Bots + no splitscreen = fail. im looking at you killzone 2:evil:

Im really missing some good local multiplayer, hope to see more coming in the future.

How KZ2 didn't have Co-op is pretty baffling considering you constantly have someone with you. It would have been perfect. Also I think LBP is the only game that allows another user to us their account in offline co-op, we need to see that feature used more often on the PS3.

Uncharted 2 has split -screen? (multiplayer looks SICK ... i want it regardless)

Haze ... I forgot that game ever came out ... is it even worth a rent :( ?

I know it's developers choice but they never seem to want multi on Sony's side (ex.- Epic had to update UT3 just to get split and it's half-#$$)

I don't really like co op that much. 95% of the time the other person is useless, or so much better than you that you don't get to do anything. And it also creates 2 often conflicting schedules. I can only play so much games in a week already I don't need to change my stuff around so it's convienient to play with somebody. Often Co op kills the immersion. Left 4 Dead is one of the only examples I can think of where the co op drastically improved the game, and I wish that were on PS3.:cry:

Split screen should never die! Some of my favourite gaming experiences ever were playing on the same console with a friend (perfect dark, pdz, halo1, 2, 3, gears1, 2, left4dead, etc)

I would rather have games implement split screen, too few games it :(

well, I don't mind coop if there's another single player mode which is just as good if not better, however, resident evil 5 pissed me off since it made it that much more difficult playing by yourself. I had a few partners lined up since I had a ps3 and most of my friends own 360s, then it ended up that all my plans fell through and I had to either play it online coop with randoms or by myself (I did almost all of it myself).

Coop in demon's souls on the other hand is such an awesome idea and an awesome way to execute coop gameplay.

In most games you aren't able to sign into two different PSN IDs on the same PS3, so both of you probably won't get Trophies playing at the same time, so splitscreen might not work too well. Splitscreen should always be there because sometimes its more fun playing with a friend on the same screen.

Yea that's what I meant it really needs to be standard.

Its fun if you like playing with friends but I never ever have anyone over to game.
