The gloves require the user to constantly remove the gloves and put the gloves back on, especially if the user is moving between multiple applications. For example, where the user may have to perform typing or some other function requiring a sense of feeling in the hands, consumers tend to remove the gloves. In addition, the data glove hinders the movement of the hand and has substantial weight. Thus, gloves have not been embraced by users for entertainment applications. "
thats too much for cows to do. they cant even get up and swtich a game disk so why would they take it on and off?

Old.Â
If it's not standard with the console, it's not going to kill a damn thing. You can't beat something that's the darling of the media at its own game; that's why Nintendo stepped out of the graphics race.
Make the competition play by your rules, and you'll win every time.Â

"It has come ot our attention that 'Sony' plans to use a new weapon called the 'Power Gloves' in an attempt to destroy Nintendo and their new product known as 'Nintendo Wii'. We have tracked down Sony's base of operations to an underground base located in the Caribbean where the Power Gloves are being initiated. You're job is to find the power gloves, destroy them, and escape unnoticed. Good luck, 007."

No, it couldn't. Sony can't beat Nintendo at its own game.
If you're playing Shaquel O'Neal 1-on-1, you don't post up against him unless you want your shot thrown into the stands. You can't beat a player at his own game, especially if the entire crowd is cheering for him and against you.

Control Glove.
There will come a day when we can control our devices simply by pointing at them. Until then, there's the Control Glove. Developed six months ago as a concept by Engineered Fibre Structures Ltd., the Control Glove can be used as a controller in a video game, sending multiple commands via Bluetooth. Made of a lightweight textile stretch material, the fingers are tipped with contractors, allowing players to rub certain fingers together to perform different commands. Stay tuned, because you may using the glove by the time Microsoft comes out with another Xbox console.
