 Well it's not doing really bad. We Europeans are not such console enthusiasts as for example North American people - there's less people who buy consoles over here, so ofc after a market pressence of one year the sales are going to drop. Don't forget your looking at the sales of France only not sales of Europe tho, so it's only one country of the 48+ there is in Europe :).

Well, at least France isn't losing billions of dollars annually (and worldwide respect) in Iraq right now. 

So in 2 weeks, ps3 was able to manage to sell 2x as many ps3 as xbox 360 in 3 months. Talk about pathetic :(nextgengaming18

The point made is how it is doing comparitively to the other consoles, not compared to the US sales. As odd a concept it is to grasp, Sony is competing against Microsoft and Nintendo to varying degrees, they don't have the luxury of competing with themselves.

 Yea and 7 days of PS3 sales was 60% of 3 months of Wii sales and 200% of 3 months of 360 sales ...
   Seriouly anyone whom tihnks  PS3 should of outsold Wii sales is crazy -- only 120,000 PS3's max have been shipped to france ...
