Let's hope so...im not getting my hopes up right now.
I want atleast 1 new good IP on psp and 1 or 2 on ps3. I just hope their conference is better then nitendos and microsofts. Its just like last year, microsoft bored me, but still has me interested with a few titles, and nitendo gave absolutly nothing. Lets hope sony gets me excited like last year.
God of War 3 CGI trailer and if we're lucky something from Team Ico. Resistance 2, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, and Socom Confrontation will definitely be there somewhere.
Anything, absolutely anything shown will make it better than Nintendo's conference. God I can't believe I wasted an hour and a half watching that crap.
Sony has a tough act to follow with MS having announced what they did. But all in all, MS's conference wasn't really that good. The whole conference was boring, the only OMGWTF moment was at the end. so basically you watched an hour for one minute of entertainment. heh.
I'm hoping Sony can do better, and continually drop bombs throughout the conference. OMG whats that? Mario on the PS3? lol.
sony will have the usual games that we'd expect to be there (GoW 3, LBP, etc.) but all in all, the conference will be underwhelming. i bet they will bring up Blu-ray as the winner of the format war; they will try to introduce their new video store (that only contains Sony movies and shows because no other studio has signed up to distribute their movies/shows on PSN); they will talk about firmware 2.41 and show cgi trailers with a small gameplay demo of KZ 2 that will show poor gameplay mechanics; they will say/show nothing regarding FF 13; they may come out and say that SO 4 will also be on the PS3 and say that the PS3 is the lead dev console; it will be underwhelming and disappointing.
psp will have about 1/4 of the show with ps2/3 ports and possibly (though improbable) a new psp (psp 2, perhaps).
it won't be sony's best e3 but it won't be their worst either.
i will laugh my ass off if the audience boo's them.:P
I hope for the PS3 fans they do not show the same stuff they show every single E3. Prolly will see Home yet another time, KZ2 yet another time, LBP yet another time, GT5 yet another time.

That Nintendo conference shoulda been booed. Anything after that is gaming heaven. It seems sony will have the most first and second party offerings of the three.
besides showing off things we know more of i really want to see more socom, inFamous, and heavy rain. i really want to seee where that NCsoft deal from last year went and hope home beta comes out in 2008 atleast. imo they just really need to show off up new exclusives to out do MS(all they have to do it show up to outdo nintendo) the reason is besides the FF announcment MS's really didn't show off anything new that wasn't for casuals and considering FF13 is stil A LONG ways away it has do direct impact in teh near future
A trailer for inFAMOUS is confirmed, just add God of War 3 to that and Twisted Metal and they got this e3 in the bag. They already have second place on lock with that infamous footage that leaked.

you see. this is what happens when all the gamer-chicks and the glitz and glamour are taken out of e3 and the public is not allowed to enter. i really wish they'd bring back the old e3. that way, game devs and console makers would have to work their asses off to impress us and earn our money. the current e3 is a sad state of affairs that is now boring and embarrassing to the point it might actually turn off gamers.
to whoever is in charge of e3: fix this s--- becuase it's now a joke that's not even funny!!!
