Sooo what system are you getting Red Dead Redemption for? 9 days US! 12 EU!

So to the ones who have ore-ordered, or the one's considering the game worthy for your collection, what system did you pick? I wanted to get the PS3 version but Rockstar has been flaunting their Xbox360 version ever since. Im not saying its going to be better, but I feel a lot of weight has gone off my chest knowing that I can play the version that has been shown repeatedly. The differences are probably very minor So xbox for me :)

Tough one: My PS3 collects dust so I need that game on that, but it'll probably look better on 360, it better be equal so I can get the PS3 version.

To the Cows out there you should get the PC version. Since you always want to talk about how you will just get the PC version of games when 360/PC mutiplats are concerned. The PS3 version is pretty much useless. Is it not?

I'll be getting Red Dead for whichever system it handles best on, if they are both the same then I'll get it for the 360.

PS3 since I don't have a 360 and it isn't coming out on PC.

PS3, since it doesn't seem like it will come out for the PC.

It's funny how people like to complain about X-Box Live fees at $50 a year. When you get a better service for your money. I'd rather pay $50 a year for Live than to get a garbage service like PSN.

Prefer achievements to trophies.
Prefer controller to dual shock.
Typically performs or looks better, by however large or miniscule amount.

If by "garbage service" you mean pretty much the same with a few things missing that xbox 360 has then yeah sure. I mean if you feel those features are worth the $50 then go right ahead and use it but PSN is in no way a "garbage service" :roll:

360. Even if it comes out on PC I won't get it. Oh my rig can handle it but I want this Western epic-niss on my widescreen

I kinda feel the same way. my ps3 slim is just sitting there. the only thing its been used for in the past few weeks has been Avatar on blu-ray. but something is telling me to get the 360 version

Well, if I get it before the inevitable PC version releases, it will be on PS3.

Most of my friends that plan on getting this are doing so on the 360. I want my posse :)

I remember some guy on Cheap ass gamer saying their were giant differences in favor of the 360, but I havent heard of any such differences in the GI review. Anyway, probaly 360 if I do end up renting it.

It's unfortunate really, I'm in somewhat of a dillema. I have a ps3 and xbox360. I don't have xbox live gold because paying for online play is funny. I use ps3 online. But here is the dillema. Game is not out on pc so not an option. SO, ps3 version has inferior graphics, loading times and framerate. But Xbox360 version for me would not have online. Quite the dillema.

Okay I've had ZERO interest in this game for a long time. But I just watched a few videos and I am HYPED for it now. I'd like to get it on PS3 so I could continue not paying for Xbox Live, but very few of my friends have a PS3 and I'd love to make a posse with them. Free roam online sounds so fun....

I have both ps3 and 360 but im getting it on the 360 because i always get multiplats for the 360.I prefer the 360's controller,online service,also i have more friends on xboxlive.Im not even sure if this game has multiplayer but im mainly buying it for the single player.
