Look i'm a huge PS3 fan and i got GTA-IV on release day too, as well as many others, but whether you want to admit it or not GTA-IV gets old at about 4 to 5 hours into the game, all the driving back and forth really gets boring after a while, especially once they stop showing you the most direct route to your next location and just put these little dots on the map that you have to find your way back and forth to and pretty soon you find your self wishing they had a fast travel feature similar to Oblivion, so once you've been to a location you don't have to drive all the way back if your no where near it, you just hop in the car bring up the map and select the location you want to fast travel to, especially if your in the middle of a mission and you have to worry about finding your way to your next location while the cops are coming after you, because then it's really frustrating.
Now Metal Gear 4, well it's just a flawless work of art, with absolutely no imperfections in story, gameplay, graphics or audio, what so ever, it's not to often a game comes along that actually is responsible for selling 75,000 consoles.
I could go on for pages complimenting Metal Gear but it just has to be experienced to understand the sheer phenomenon that Konami truly achieved with this game, and if thats not good enough then read the reviews and perhaps they have found the words you need to realize the greatness that is Metal Gear 4,, because it definitely surpasses GTA-IV.
