The game is doing great on XBox Arcade and wouldn't have sold anywhere close to the as many copies on the PC if it wasn't on XBox 360 Arcade first. If he had marketed it on the PC only, it would have been pirated to death and he would have sold a lot less them 100K copies.

This is proof why even shareware developers are leaving the PC market and making game for XBox Arcade and Sony PSN systems. ;)

Also, Braid is being released on PC as well, he just released it on XBLA so he could actually make some money after he put over 100k of his own money into it. Also, how is it watered down? He is also of the belief that there are no levels or anything to the game, or a purpose to it all. He kept saying "there's no point to the game, you just do this" as if the entire game consisted of that one area where you jump off things then rewind back.

I'm not sure if he was indeed under the influence of something, or whether that's just his personality. Watch any of his youtube videos, hear him speak on tv or on the radio, or listen to any song of his and there's no change. He cant be stoned all the time surely?
