speaking of dues ex.....

does anybody know what Warren Specter (made Dues Ex, System shock, Thief...etc) is doing currently?

last I heard, his studio was aquired by Disney, and he is currently making a combination action and role playing game (big surprise) on the source engine, which is to be released episodiclly apparently only through steam.

Does anybody know anything else about whatever he is making?

He's working at Junction Point Studios, which was bought by Disney Interactive, and is doing a game called Ninja Gold, done as a movie/game combo with John Woo.
