That all depends where you live. In the US, nothing is going to beat Spider-man 3 or Pirates 3. Harry Potter will do great, probably about $275-300 mill in the boxoffice.....but still far short of the other two I mention as those will top $300 mill easily.
Foreign boxoffice is different however, as Spider-man 3 is going to fall short compared with Harry Potter..........Pirates 3 will still beat it though (domestic and foreign boxoffice).
That means Pirates of C. 3 is the best movie of the year (guess what, it's also for the moment coming only to Blu-Ray as well)

I was thinking the exact same thing.....Unless SOE is going to plaster PS3 name/logos in every orifice of that movie. That would be pretty tacky if they did that. Right now X360 is going to sale more Spider-man 3 games than PS3 so I actually think Spider-man 3 will help boost X360.

I can't even imagine how ridiculous the Sony product placement in Spider-Man 3 is going to be, especially after seeing Casino Royale. Don't get me wrong, I loved Casino Royale, and normally I don't mind product placement because everyone uses name brand products in everyday life. But when every single technological gadget is a Sony, it's unrealistic and annoying. Everyone used Sony Ericsson phones, everyone had Vaios, and there was even a blatant Blu-Ray appearance. Spider-Man 3 is probably going to be even worse. If I don't see a Playstation 3 (or a Playstation 3 billboard somewhere in Manhattan), I'll be shocked.
