Gues the gaming industry has a long way to go. I can only imagine what future generations say when they see the game that got elected for GOTY in 2011. But, on the contrary, fighting dragons in Skyrim isn't boring in the slightest. I've heard a lot about how fun it is to fight dragons in Skyrim (and I've played it on my friend's PC, and it was fun fighting a dragon).

Also, Lair invented boring dragon fights :P

Last of Us was reveal of the show, the graphics were incredible. Alan Wake right behind it. Everything else was pretty meh.

Opinions are opinions, Last of Us > Diablo III > Everything else.

Why is this my opinion? Well soley due to the fact we knew NOTHING about The Last of Us, and I knew that D3 was going to be awesome. It was cool, but it wasn't an announcement or anything.

I don't think you can patch more memory into the entire console.

That's not it, Bethesda said that they fixed that sort of issue a long time ago. That was said by a New Vegas developer, not a Skyrim developer.

There are a few methods, one is deleting a file named "corrupted data" in your Game Data folder, another is clearing some HDD space, disabling autosave helps lower the freezing and framerate hitches, and a lot of the times restarting your PS3 seemed to work for people when they got the "framerate crash".

Game has 1) tons of content 2) is fun to play 3) interesting world 4) great graphics considering the scope of the game 5) huge improvements in animation 6) lots of refinements to its sequel 7) dragons 8) different stats and features 9) has loads of content, and 10) has glitches that are very funny and entertaining. Sounds like GOTY material to me ;).

So? What was Kojima doing in the show? did he announce something?
