Hopefully nintendo takes the hint from this. And releases more new IPs with a good ammount of effort put into them.

I wonder where, though. Definitely not in eastern and south eastern European countries. I'm guessing 70% of those sales come from Germany, France and the UK.

@Maroxad: Yup. Splatoon was brilliant and the amount of content which was released for free was worth waiting for over the several months. It is probably my favourite shooter of this gen so far and hope to god that the sequel will be sooner than later.

Nintendo is dead in the UK. Germany and France sold very well according to numbers.

Such a wonderful game, though. Deserves every last bit of success, I am glad it ended up selling as much as it did.

Also, Destiny, Watch Dogs, and I am sure The Division, are going to be bigger new IP launches, but yes, it's the biggest new exclusive IP launch. It managed to outsell Bloodborne and Sunset Overdrive- and going by the numbers we have, it has even outsold Halo 5!

I'm totally one of those happy owners. Now that there's more content, it's a fantastic game. Only thing missing, imo, is voice chat. Nintendo, if you hate voice chat, make people able to disable it? If you're worried about kids, have it disabled as default? Would've been fun to be able to speak with your friends. Making strategies is completely impossible without it.

Bet the second one won't sell nearly as much. I'm still convinced hardly anyone plays this game anymore. All Japanese players and takes longer than 6 months ago to find matches.

They are multiplatform games and they all suck.

I'm hoping I'll find some time soon to jump back in and play regularly. Been a little focused on my backlog of games rather than online multiplayer. :S

Because all of you/them sheep were jumping on me for saying the very same thing the last 2-3 years. Now you understand how important is for Nintendo to provide NEW IPs to their fans and lure in more gamers than the typical fanboys that dont mind to play the very same games all over again.

It did. So did most other Nintendo consoles, including the NES and SNES.

Mainland EU traditionally favors Nintendo very much. Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, mostly. Nintendo generally do poorly in the UK and Eastern Europe, on the other hand.

It was paid for then unlocked at strategic times to keep the game fresh.

Good sales. Hopefully they add modern mp features to it, mainly voice chat.

Yeah, the reason is we see Mario and put him in the same pool as Spongebob.

That's an amazing compliment for Mario..... if you exclude all of Spongebob after its first four seasons.

Well there's NSMBU, Mario Maker and DKC: Tropical Freeze on the first party side, but third parties have thrown out Shovel Knight, Rayman Legends, Trine 2 and Child of Light. It's not just Nintendo throwing these out, dude.

GC style color console, no baby blue stuff, drop the silly name, 3rd party support, a mature IP/ they have 1, so it won't need much work/ and - i know this will upset some - NO MARIO!!!

We don't even call the WIIU "WIIU", we call it "Nintendo" the same way you say "LEGO"

I cant do raw predictions , my crystal ball isnt THAT good. I need to have some tips , rumors , facts .. you name it in order to do so.

Want me to link you some heated debates when i was tryint to convince mega sheep of this forum that Nintendo need NEW IPs while they were going rampant over it ? And now all of you hypos agreeing with what i was saying all along for more than a year now because of Splatoon success ?! Oh well , its all fine !

Some of my best predictions also for Nintendo were the premature death of Wii , the motion controls future , the Wii U future , every single thing i said after Wii U hardware spec revealed happened and many more. So yeah , if you want such kind of predictions ill give you alot of ones when NX get a reveal along with its marketing and some of its games.
