Splinter Cell: Conviction and Mass Effect 2 on Playstation?

Hello,

Yeah, just been wondering if Splinter Cell: Conviction and Mass Effect 2, both exclusive to Microsoft at the moment, will arrive on the Playstation like Episodes of Liberty City did...afterall, there have been some programming lines on the Mass Effect 2 disc related to the Playstation.Also, Playstation version of Dragon Age: Origins did advertise that they gave out Blood Dragon Armour which was for Commander Shepard on Mass Effect 2. Whats more, isn't Bioware known to be a big RPG company which develops multiplatform games? However, on the 360's side, I have also heard news that Microsoft bought up the rights to Mass Effect 1 and an recent interview had Microsoft openly praise the Splinter Cell series as 'a true Microsoft exclusive' :|

Does anyone, except for me, think there is possibility thatboth games will go multiplat?:D

I believe that was the case with Splinter Cell 1/2/3 as well. I myself think of the Xbox when I think of Splinter Cell, but Ubisoft is on a timed exclusive.

I hope it does; more people need to experience the Mass Effect games, they're amazing.

It's certainly possible for both games.

Splinter Cell is more likely, based on the 4-5 different things we read by Ubi's Prez, but only time will tell.

I think Mass Effect may come when the 3rd is released or just after. All 3 on one Blu Ray. I know alot of people who only have a PS3 and Mass Effect is game everyone should get to experience.

Splinter Cell i think is a given, the quesiton is just when.

ill take Mass Effect 1 & 2 ... pass on splinter cell, i already have a much better stealth/action game in Metal Gear Solid 4

ME2 probably not.

I will be surprising if Conviction doesn't come to PS3.

I think that Conviction on the PS3 is extremely likely, but the chance of ME2 is very small IMO.

If one of them was to go it would be Splinter Cell. I don't see ME2 going unless Bioware does ME1 as well

I think ME wille ventually, but it wont be till after 3 comes out I think. SC is fair game I think.

I would honestly be curious how these games would trnsition to PS3, and if they would be ported well. UE 3 is a tricky thing on PS3, and I cant remember a non Exclusive UE 3 game that worked as well on the PS3 as it did on 360. And honestly, if Mass Effect 2 came to PS3, I would almost perfer to paly it on taht since it would be 1 disc.

sometimes, games still come to the other syestem even when the devs say that. Remember Re 4? BTW: the dev for that game still owes us a Head Severing.

I hope it does; more people need to experience the Mass Effect games, they're amazing.

I hope they don't because if there are no system exclusives I can't justify owning both. And they won't.

Don't think ME2 will come to Ps3 and if it is Ps3 code in the game its probably just like said earlier, "the engine supports Ps3"

Conviction I can imagine being put on PS3, but not ME.

I say that because ME has shown strong sales on the 360 just as a game like, say, Bioshock 1 and 2 did (on 360). I can only imagine Bioware realizes at this point releasing ME on the PS3 would pull in a total of about 3 sales.

UBISOFT have said, conviction WILL NOT, but Splinter cell xxxx or whatever = possible the PS3 reference in the Mass Effect 2 code has been confirmed as meaning "Pixel Shader 3" Mass Effect is so unlikely to come out on PS3 its not worth talking about.sts106mat

I thought every cow already had a gaming PC...so why would it matter?

I would buy a PS3 if Mass Effect 1 (with all problems fixed) and Mass Effect 2 went to it. Of course, not only for those two games, but they would be a final push that I need to invest my money on a PS3.
