I've had thta game since release and am 20 hours in I wanna try to finish that and Valkyria chronicles before Halo ODST comes Also boderlands and rage seem so meh to me. I just can't get into em so.

So many delays, is this really an effect of Modern Warfare 2?-DrRobotnik-
Could be just a development issue (can't get it done in time) , maybe their own Assassins Creed comes into play with the decision , or potentially a strategic move by Micro$oftwanting Splinter Cell to go up against God of War III in March in an effort to keep the PS3 down forevar !!!!

Splinter cell hasn't been good since Chaos Theory, I don't think many people will care about this. As for Red Steel 2, one less reason for a lot of people to pick up motion plus, not good for Nintendo if they want people to adopt this thing before Zelda implements it.

With Wii Sports Resort coming bundled with Wii Motion Plus...I don't think that'll be an issue for them.
Next year is just getting better for the 360, even if it is not exclusive in SWs eyes.

Umm. It's pretty fallacious logic to say that a subsequent year is getting better because a game was delayed.
Why?
It just is :x I hate when people are like, oh look, all the best games are coming out next year instead! That makes next year better. *joy* NO. It makes this year WORSE and next year WORSE because it won't already be out before next year starts. /RAGE RANT

In Order. Star Ocean, Valkyria Chronicles. Finish KIllzone 2 on elite, Ninja Blade on hard, and Do prototype on hard.
After the E3 presentation, I wanted to get my hands of Red Steel 2 :(. I'm not even surprised by Splinter Cell being delayed. At this rate it will become the next Duke Nukem Forever

Not surprised, a lot of games getting delayed, the good thing is we've still got plenty of potentially good games left this fall/winter, for now of course...
Well its good news in that it just give them more time to improve the quality of gameplay, if this scores below a 9 on average i am going to be pretty disappointed. I also think it is bad news as I have not played a stealth action game that involved gun play on the 360 since, well since never.I have never played the splinter cell series on 360 it just didnt appeal to me. In fact this is the only splinter cell to ever interest me as I was always more into metal gear solid.

I'm just saying. I've been waiting for that game since it was announced just like GT5. I don't mean it's been in production longer but it has been pushed back several times. I remember when it was announced they said in stores this holiday. two years later....

i'd say good news. more development time and they won't get lost in the holiday deluge of games. is there really a deluge this year? Must be raining camouflage drops, because not much has grabbed my eyes.
