Splinter Cell: Conviction listed as coming to PS3!

Remember when the rumors and all the websites listing GTA4 episodes to PS3 and they all been said to be wrong? and how things turned out? its happening with Splinter Cell: Conviction now, many game retailers now have Splinter Cell: Conviction listed for PlayStation 3. could this be the reason of the delay?

Considering it's the same company and whatnot, this seems more similar to the whole Left 4 Dead PS3 thing. That never happened.
Anyway, why would blockbuster know about this before the main version comes out again? You know, with GTA it was because the store was because the game was going to be in stock in a couple of months-> meaning they were giong to beordering copies, this is just random.

Ive also seen MGS4 mistakenly listed for the 360 on Target.com.

Mistakes happen all the time, and the fact that its Blockbuster that mad the mistake doesnt help.

Kind of early don't ya think? I think maybe we should wait a bit longer before we can get exited ;). I would love for it come over but it's really only up to Ubisoft.

i'm sorry...but the release is just so close away for the announcement to not have been made yet...it would give PS3 owners no time to get hyped for the game or go preorder

I would not be surprised.

AC 2 sold really well on the PS3, somethin like 3 million and the 360 version is around 3.5 or so. Not sure though.

This could show Ubi that PS3 owners are really interested in their games and why would Ubi turn down an offer for more sales?

Really I dont care. I just hope Syphon Filter 5 gets announced or something to complete with Conviction.

Not really when the expansion for GTA 4 released for the 360 we heard nothing of a PS3 release at all. Everyone expected it to stay a 360 exclusive.

Then all of sudden rumors started popping up but none were believable. Then all of sudden Rockstar comes out and say yep, its coming to PS3 after being quiet for so long.

No one knows what will happen.

Well MS paid for it and the deal told Rockstar to keep quiet about the PS3 version that would come out a year later to garner more sales for the 360.

But anyways it does not matter, a lot of folks with PS3s are gonna get this game once it releases. Most likely a million seller.

Never understood what people saw in the Splinter Cell games. They always seemed like half-baked versions of MGS to me.

It will come to ps3 eventually but i dont think it will launch on ps3, this game was the only reason i was still kepping my xbox

The first 3 SC games are 3 of my favorite games ever made. Done very well all the way around..Most people I have seen play OR even talked to played about 10 minutes of one SC game and gave up cause they couldnt just run N gun. You have to take your time and use your head at times. Most people that play games dont want to do that. IF its not bang bang, throw granade, snipe , reload they dont know how to play..

Conviction will probably come to the PS3 a few months after the 360 release. After all, it happen to all the other Splinter Cell games on the PS2 and Double Agent.
