Ubisoft has bigged up its working relationship with Microsoft on Splinter Cell: Conviction, suggesting that it's going to take full advantage of 360's strengths. "There's going to be a really strong partnership with Microsoft," producer, Alexandre Parizeau told CVG this week. "Obviously we'll do everything that we can do to make sure that the experience is indebted with whatever the Xbox has to offer. "I want to make sure that when the game hits the shelves the disc will 'meld' with your Xbox 360 - it's meant for the Xbox 360 and it will show," he said somewhat enthusiastically.
On the untypical circumstances of making a game that's platform exclusive, Parizeau said: "it's really cool to be able to focus technology on one platform, to be able to really exploit it to the maximum of its capacity. "We've been working with Microsoft for a while now. We've been working with their engineers - we've had super good feedback from them on all sorts of different things. It's been a really good partnership with them. "They're backing us up. There's no question that they're supporting the game to its fullest," he said.

It sounds as if it was an exclusive or at least timed exclusive.
