I really don't think people should be judging a game by peoples response to the DRM. Spore itself scored well, a 8+ scoring game isn't a flop. The game only got such a negative response in regard to the DRM because it is so high profile, Mass Effect and Bioshock both use Securom but neither got a boycott.
Of course platform tards will downplay any title that doesn't hit their platform, look at the console user comments in regard to Warhead's success. I've enjoyed Spore so far; with the latest patch setting it on the rout to becoming a more polished and balanced game. Judgemental people who have never played the game arn't about to tell me whether or not I'm having fun.
As for the thread subject, I see no reason for Spore not to come to 360. Even with the lack of a HDD; a sufficient capacity memory card should cover player distributed content. Though to be frank I don't see Spore being successful on most consoles, especially 360. Spore like the Sims is going to have expanded content packs, something that posed a problem with the Sims success on consoles, with no mandatory HDD requirement on 360 the only way to broadly distribute packs is through updated re-releases.
Who would want to buy the same game each time a new pack is released?
