i can, just because i think this game is too massive and monstrous to actually work the way it should, or the way i think it should.

The PC gaming community should be absolved of all negative feedback that Spore recieves; I say this because quite frankly, is Spore a game for us? Early player reviews seem to really paint a negative picture here, and I can't quite help but feel that we've, as a collective been dooped by it.

From the early player reviews, it seems like this game has absolutely no depth, quite frankly I was reading over a thread on the PC games forum, in which the threadmaker goes into large amounts of detail over what you can do, only to come to the conclusion that you really don't do much.

For the most part I've been completely uninterested in Spore because all Will Wright has shown was that stupid creature creator, however I was interested in what the gameplay couldhave been. I envisioned something of a grand mix between Sins of a Solar Empire and Civilization which to me just was on a whole different level.

Instead we are given The Simms with a new coat of paint, can't say I didn't see this coming.

Oh and by the way Will Wright is the most overrated developer on the planet.

to bad that IS NOT how it is.

Do me a favor and go read IGN AU's review of Spore.

They go into detail about all the depth the game DOES have. The Space Stage in particular(where you spend most of your time), is literally you managing an intergalactic empire, arranging trade, creating alliances, waging war, terraforming planets, and exploring...

Don't take reader reviews of a game that isn't even out yet seriously. Because chances are, they are just flamebaiting.
