Shinji Hashimoto of Square Enix gave a few details on his project "Fabula Nova Crystallis" during an interview with the japanese magazine, Nintendo Dream. He informed us that the world of Final Fantasy XIII would span over a period of 10 years; a period similar to that of Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. Hashimoto also announced that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles : The Crystal Bearers on Wii, for which we have very few details, would completely utilize the wiimote's features, and reminds us that Square Enix would make some very important announcements concerning some unannounced titles at Square Enix Party 2007 (on May 12-13), Tokyo Game Show and Jump Fiesta, and mentioned (with a smile) that Nintendo and Square Enix fans should pay close attention to next month's Square Enix Party 2007.

I have an uncle who works for Square-enix and he told me they were gonna be giving details on another chrono game being made exclusive to the Wii. XenoNinja

I work for Square Enix and I can tell you that they're dropping the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII to focus on developing it for the Wii. 

All I ask is that FF:CC have an online co-op mode.

OK... I don't know how that fits with 'Big.' Please elaborate...

Its going to be Dragon Quest 10 exclusive for Wii do the immense Japanese Wii sales. Well that's my guess anyways. Other then FFCC I don't want any FFXIII spin offs. I'd rather see the Wii get a downgraded verions of FFXIII then another spinoff. Even though I'll get the game on PS3 anyways. It would help the Wii to get a main installment.Blackbond

We lost FF and DQ to Sony, Now we have won them back. If we get KH then we have all 3 Blockbuster Sqeenix Franchises for Wii.

Hard to say what it is exactly. It could be just a big coming out of details for FF:CC for the Wii. It could also be the fourth Fabula Nova Crystallis Project being officially announced for the Wii or Nintendo.

I don't think it's a DQ or KH announcement. Too early for that. Announcements for multiple KH projects are expected but they are expected in the summer.

I think it is pretty ridiculous to expect FF13 on the Wii.  ANyone saying otherwise is only setting themselves up for humiliation and disapointment.

The most likely scenario is Kingdom HEarts 3.  The disney connection makes it perfect for the general Wii audience.  Or, even more likely, they will show something we already know will be out like Dragon Quest or even the new Crystal Chronicles.  Hardly exciting but the media will hype it up.

If there truly IS a big, new and exciting announcement I would much rather see a new Secret of Mana or something along those lines.  Who made those games?  I think it was one of those two guys.

I expect the franchise to move to the Wii after FFXIII, it just makes too much sense given the rabid Wii fanbase (and dwindling PS3 fanbase) in Japan and the rest of the world. jedigemini

I think by that people mean one of the FF13 spin-offs. And given that we are already getting a 12 spinoff on DS...it's really not that odd.
