Square Enix made a small surprise with the ps3 version of Star Ocean 4!

As everyone know by now Star Ocean 4: International coming to ps3 next year Feb 9th which is one week after White Knight Chronicles and of course the game have extra content such as more characters, 6 diffrent languages and Japanese VO but its been leaked that unlike the 360 version which was all CG movies the ps3 version will have anime portraits as you will be able to switch between CG or anime to view them.

a year ago no one (especially PS3 fanboys) cared about Star Ocean 4 (it was a good game despite its grindy nature) and now its a big deal? Systems wars is awesome!

lol is it really that bad?.. i have played and finished all the SO games from 1,2 on psp to the 3rd on ps2 they all were good games.. how would you rate this game?

It was average, still good enough to buy, like I said I just added a curse word in there for the hell of it.

As being one who was really looking forward to it on the xbox 360, I have to say that overall the story was quite bad. Thank god the combat saved the game though, as far as the pictures at the bottom of the screen go... doesn't really bother me but I know some it did.

I found SO:tteot a bit of a grind at the end, so wasn't planning on getting this anyway, but good to know the ps3 is getting some more RPG love.

this is good i been waiting for this game

Really the only bonus I think is cool is the ability to change languages because the dub was just horrid.

After Star Ocean 2 the series went down hill. However I like the box art.

No, what you see there is the 360 version, the ps3 version will have either the one you see above or an anime pictures so the ps3 version will have both

The game was pretty fun on 360. Not the best, but I still had a godo time playing it. Ps3 version looks even better.

I played the game for few hours on 360 it was good but I couldnt complete it cuz of the awful voice acting its the worst voice acting ever I didnt see anything worse than that in my whole life anyway since PS3 version will have japanese voice acting then I'm getting it :P.
