Please be excited for E3 this year, Squares Enixs Final Fantasy brand director, Shinji Hashimoto, said on-stage at Sonys PlayStation Meeting 2013 event today. Hashimoto didnt announce any games in particular, but hinted that the news would be Final Fantasy-related.

Just release Versus or cancel it.

They only showed their face in order to somehow feel relevant, but no-show of ANY footage and a rerun of the Agni tech demo.

Our announcement is that we are making an announcement at E3. Classic Square-Enix. 

If Square-Enix were reliable at something anymore beyond putting out total s***, we would.  They still publish some good things but they haven't made anything in a while of the same quality as the PS1/PS2 era stuff.

Really excited for a new Final Fantasy or Versus XIII E3, it doesn't matter to me.

As long as it takes full advantage of the new engine they have built it concerns me not.

Its crazy to think about it.  Since the game was first unveiled some people have gone through high school and are now over half way through their Bachelors.  Glad that's not the SE I grew up with lol

Thats when I would fully lose my last shred of care.  This whole XIII kick with SE has sucked, but I still look forward to seeing whats next.  If they announced a XIII-4 they would be dead to me.
