SSBB is looking like it is going to be perfect. The only thing that might hurt it's score might be it's online capabilities but i really think that Nintendo will dig down and make it great.maverick_41

If this thread is not for haters it belongs in the Wii forums not system wars.
Seriously thats why this forum is here. So we have a place to flame each other without corupting the other forums.
Take this thread to the wii forums.
"Thread is not for haters".
Good luck with that. SSBB wont be perfect, no game is perfect. I can already find something that is wrong w/ the game, even though its not fully known, No Headset sucks.

Meh I hate head sets. Some type of after match chating wouldn't hurt but just IMO drain on my online fun.
I'm thinking a 9.0 here. Just because GS hates SSB.
probably the only game i want the wii for.
I just hope they dont completely butcher the competitive play :|
JPOBS
I noticed some severe collision detection problems in the gameplay videos. Hopefully they'll fix that with the delay. Otherwise this game is so so worth the $50 I spend on it.Rick_Henderson
headsets a problem? i dont think so. id rather not have someone yelling in my ear while im owning themmrjam0I doubt Nintendo would let that wok with random matches.

well you never know. we still dont even know if wavedashing will make a return -_-They're using a new physics engine or gravity effects or something. People who played the demo said they couldn't wavedash, or chose which way to air dogde (But now you can attack after an air dodge).
JPOBS
no game is perfect...especially SSBBwhodeysay85I suppose you would know.
I'm good at Smash and all but wth is wavedashing and how do you do it?Shinno441Short jump, and air dodge into the ground in quick succession. The manuever makes you invicible temporarily and you can still attack, grab and other things.
I'm really worried that they've removed wave dashing, but if that's in there, the game will be near perfect.yoshi-lnex
Its out. L cancleing is automated also.
Don't fret though it just gets rid of the old and makes way for the new age of advanced techs. Pulse they are working with some of the high up there Melee players, looking at their input for tourny play.
The game has one of the mot comprehensive multiplayers I have ever seen maybe the best and they are making a full fledged campaign.
I just hope they would use my DS JUGGERNAUT idea.
Have you played it? I mean there are so many ways they could ruin it with the Wiimote. At the very least the hardcore players will be upset from the dumbing down that's obviously gonna be there for Nintendo's push so "everyone can play".Lazy_Boy88
Ah, first off if you don't want to use the Wiimote you don't have to. 4 different controls each one totally customisable.
Also, the best games are easy to learn but hard to master. Just like Melee.

It doesn't even use motion sensing.

Shinno441
Allows you to slide across the floor in a standing position, which means you can launch any attack while moving (thereby opening up your options tenfold.)

:( I'm just now getting those down well.I think them being out is just speculation at the moment though.

There is no motion sensing, and GCN controllers work with the game. The only complaint about the game is lack of wavedashing and the advanced techs which, is bad for tourney play but like Ninty freak said opened up more possibilities for advanced techs, and of course the only people who really did wavedashing were REALLLLLLY HARDCORE SSBM players, I am one of them, but never knew how to wavedash.
I suppose you would know. :roll:Well i must admit, Smash is broken as far as character balance is concerned.[QUOTE="whodeysay85"]no game is perfect...especially SSBBnintendofreak_2
As for you other comment, no wavedashing in the demo? bummer. Attacking after an air dodge? interesting....
i dont really utilize the air dodge except for the occasional unexpected recovery from off the stage, this could be interesting. 0.o

Character balance has always been a problem, but not for me and my friends, I'm sad they're taking out clones, I'm a Falco Fanatic. But yeah what have you been told Ninty? I thought they were balancing out the characters?

not really. for one thing, good luck with playing anyone other than fox, falco, sheik, marth or peach if your playing anyone good. Unless your a REAL SPEACIAL TALENT, you chances rpetty much flew out the window.and lol, only noobs air dodge. Seriously. Leaves you wide open to attack.

??? Smash is one of the most balanced fighters ever made. Tier lists are just for HARDCORE tourny players who are at almost exact skill levels. From demo players Brawl (from the chars playable) is the most balanced feeling game of the series yet.

true, melee is a relatively balanced game, and brawl will supposedly be balanced better, but yea, on higher levels of play, some characters just can not win against others. Please Log In to post.
