SSBB to be a huge success.

Thats my expectation and i think alot of other peoples. It looks amazing from the detail, to the changes that characters have overgone. So far they have only showed two items but they look awesome. The cracker launcher looks cool. And i bet the gooey bomb will be a got to get item online. The fact that you can now aim your weapons up and down and be able to shoot on the move will only increase the intensity of matches. I have faith in Nintendo reeling in some major characters along with the goodies they have now. The stages have a more intrinsic design and environments are destructible. On top of this they please consumers by offering a plate full of control options. I honestly think this game will get game of years if development and focus continues like this. It dont see any flaws as of now.

It will. I saw a poll conducted on GameFAQS and it stomped every other Wii game, from SMG to MP3. Stomped them. Got like a 3/4 majority or greater against the 5-6 biggest games on the Wii's lineup.

Given that and the Wii's dramatic sales, and the reputation of the game, and the fanaticism at which people who owned N64 and Gamecube talked about it, it will destroy Halo 3.

Considering that "if you didn't have Melee, you didn't really have a Gamecube" I wouldn't be at all surprised for this game to continue to outsell all the other big titles released this year by the end of the generation.

It will have a weak single player, and the points it loses on that, along with sound will probably keep it from AAA.Tylendal
