I really think EA has forgotten how to make a good SSX game.

The open world levels does 2 things. Makes the scenery bland and makes it really difficult during races to not screw up. The track in the demo had hardly any color and very little in the way of something to look at.

Also- The game is way to easy. I tried to wreck 3 or 4 times before I finally fell off the board.

Tricks- They seem to not be very many but part of the problem is the new control scheme. I saw before I quit you can use classic control but the mountain was so bland I didn't care to go on.

Pre-ordered cancelled. I spent an hour with the demo and have decided to get it from Redbox and try it again later. But going by the demo, Not worth buying. My first disappointment of the year.

There are SO many different drops and mountains with tons of different looks and gameplay enhancing pieces of the world. I have not played the demo yet (PSN for me), but I have watched many videos, and the world looks awesome. As you said, the controls can be changed. As for it being easy, I cannot say much on that except that tricks get harder to pull off (longer time to get back on the board) when you have higher level tricks.

Not having Maya was my first disappointment here and made me not preorder this. I'm going to try the demo though and well, I'll see what I think afterwards.

Here's the thing: you're wrong. Also, there's an official thread.

I was expecting Tricky or the first one but better. City tracks and perhaps the x-games style tracks. The funny thing is people are disagreeing with me and haven;t played it. Because that is logical. And when Amped 3 looks better there is something wrong.

They SAID that it was not going to be like that on many occasions. But the tracks (I dont know about the 2 of over 150) are very different looking(happy, dark, ect) with tons of landmarks and such. Riding down massive pipes and such is pretty awesome to me. I loved SSX3 so I am happy with this.

And as said above, I do have a wonderful Hype thread ;) :P
