STALKER: Clear Sky......not getting the hype it deserves

This game looks absolutely amazing and anyone who has a high end PC should pic this game up ASAP, it does not only have superior graphics technically speaking that closely rival Crysis' and in some cases beats it, but its graphical level artistically speaking is breath-taking with its rich atmosphere and mood.

It is extremely pretty. I loved the gameplay of the original STALKER. The only concern I have is that the DX10 features will destroy my rig. Wasdie

I never hype a game before I first see the review.

No great game ever does. Both Dead Rising and Lost Planet on the 360 were hardly talked about let alone praised and out of every single major game I've played for the "next-gen" consoles (GTAIV, Halo 3, CoD4 and BioShock), those are the one's I've enjoyed the most.foxhound_fox

How does the dX 9 compare to the 10? I put back dX9 on my rig and don't want to get dx10 untill they fix it...

I'm getting Clear sky of course but I'm not as certain as everyone on the graphics, hope it will hold it's promisses... The first one looked great on pics but turned out not that impressive...

I try not to hype a game too much because my expectations end up becoming too high and then I become disappointed.

But Clear Sky isn't letting me not hype it a lot. It just looks so damn promising that it's really hard to ignore.

The whole game was pretty poor. It was pretty, though.

I own Stalker but i haven't opened the packaging yet due to other gaming needs. Am i missing much?hongkingkong
