It's a pretty buggy game, but it'll be great when they iron them all out. I heard the project manager/leader for the STALKER games was fired due to the buggy messes the first one and this one were, so hopefully the next game will be better at launch.

If the question was what are the exclusive PC games this year, I'm pretty sure, and I would have to check on this, that the PC has had more exclusive AAA and AA games than any other system this year. Again, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Got this game the day it was released on Steam. I didn't run into any major bugs, maybe the odd graphical or side quest glitch. My only really complaint is the uneven difficultly in some areas.

It's a STALKER game, I pretty much expected there to be issues here and there. As such, when I came across them, I didn't let them take away anything from the game.

Most of the other complaints people had, such as the lack of money, finding medical supplies or enemy grenades, is blown out of proportion. The game forces you to be smarter about how you approach combat and forces you to take advantage of your surroundings for cover. The game world is even more detailed and the enhanced graphics engine looks really impressive.

So what if it's a 7, the game is still pretty solid, in my opinion.

Wouldn't hurt to try... Or you can always google your probleme, see if there's other people having similar probleme... that's what I did.

Hype was pretty low for this game. Haven't seen any hype on it for months.

It's a great game. Most bugs they're whining about were fixed in the patch. I'm enjoying the game anyway. No problems here at all in terms of performance/bugs.

My borther had the same problem. He restarted his game from the beggining and the problem was gone the 2nd time around.

Both consoles and computers lack a bunch of stuff. Consoles dominate the PC in JRPGs, fighting, platformers, and yes, sports (PC may get racing games, but generally not the best, and hermits miss out on a lot of sports games). PC gets a wider variety of FPS, RTS, WRPG and MMO (which are essentially online-only WRPGs). Fanboys can say what they want, but neither library is better, unless you're going strictly by scores; I prefer the console libraries to the PC one, and it's not even close. However, I can completely understand that to someone who's into mods, MMOs, or strategy games, the PC is king. Maybe every PC topic on System Wars shouldn't de-evolve into a war between the consoles and PC. ;)
