Star Citizen alpha 2.0 screenshots amazing

All we need is some much needed anti aliasing but I heard lighting has improved a lot from the updates. Plenty of time to work out the visuals until the SP release. Best screenshot I could fine on the web that wasn't denied. I will post screens of my own when it is release that aren't as compress.

Oh look a massive open game looking better than some linear corridor movie game

We should be seeing major graphical improvement when Squadron 42 is close to release which feels almost forever right now.

Not only that a single space station is probably bigger than an entire movie game levels combined

One of the few games I'm looking forward to, I just hope it doesn't end up feeling as empty as the pre-alpha footage.

Not quite sure if there will be many NPC in the new build. We really just testing the game at this point until they add more features.

From what I can tell from latest ATV shows. Alpha 2.0 is right around the corner (I hope). Looks amazing!

Until they add AA options nothing is stopping people from using DSR or the equivalent AMD option, im using 1400p on my 1080p screen which makes it look much cleaner and seemingly has less performance hit than normal AA

but sometimes I sacrifice AA entirely and drop down to high so I can run it on 3 monitors which is another experience entirely.

I'm so over this game and it's 5 year alpha. Call me when it's actually out.

The alpha has only been out for about 18 months. Hell, probably more like 14-15.

It does look pretty amazing. I actually looked at those screenshots for a few minutes, Cry Astro looks great. Some added AA would take it to a new level.

Anyway they've been dropping hints that we'll see 2.0 this week so fingers crossed. Just sucks that I won't be home when the livestream starts. If only it happened an hour later... well, knowing CIG, it probably will lol.

I hope they really polish up the fps gameplay, even if it just played like stalker in space I'd be way more ok with that than it's current showing.

Games only been in development for 3 years max, alpha even less. Come back to the forum post-drama queen phase k?

Technically, development started in 2011. But things didn't really take off until after the crowdfunding campaign in late 2012. And the majority of the content being released now didn't really start getting worked on until well into 2013.
