so a playable version of mass effect loading screen? yh this is what ive been asking for all this time lmao. this shit is going to get tiring after 2/3 times
About 2% of people on desktop pc's able to run it. Even the footage shown barely broke 20fps.
Very uninspired. You can do better. 5/10

More interesting than anything NMS ever shown
I'm waiting to see how final character models will look like after April. Squadron 42 will be crowned as graphics king at the end of this year for years to come.

Really interested in seeing how the models turn out aswell. Hoping for some really extensive character creator.
Thought that jump gate thing was CGI, the bar scene looks like crap tho
Why's that? I liked it. Just needs npcs.
The game's graphic settings haven't been set. There is no AA and a lot of things are disabled or are still being worked on. Environmental detail and asset detail are high but there are a bunch of rendering issues.
People who have pulled assets from the game to the CryEngine 3 and made renders have been able to achieve nearly photorealistic looking stuff. The build of the engine currently used for Star Citizen is far from complete. A lot of former Crytek guys are working on it (as Crytek is falling apart).
First time Star Citizen really impressed me.
It looked really good.
indeed, it's finally starting to look like a AAA title hermits can be proud to boast about. I am ready to see how it unfolds in the next year or so when it releases.

ran at 30fps on my laptop with a 650m. Lie more, please
I have a laptop with a GT 750m 2GB GDDr5, i7 4700mq, DDR3L system ram and I can hardly run anything modern at 30 frames on the lowest settings.

Better than boasting about 5club

how are rigs supposed to handle so much action on screen without blowing up? i hope cities and bars don't turn into a lagfest
@lawlessx: There's a video about how the game will use instancing.
I'm not sure it's 100% accurate, but basically, there's a galaxy server that handles all the major calculations (this i'm sure is real) and then a smaller subset of servers that will use smart instancing for planetside locations, orbital spaces and a thrid one. Basically, the instacing is to remove too many ships from your screen to not overload
If remember reading that one of the devs had an SLI high end rig and it tried to load 8 Bengal Carries at the same time to test it, and it crashed the machine.
I'll go try and find the video.
Edit: Found it. How correct he is, i don't know. But he makes sense. Regardless, i'm sure CIG has a plan on how to calcute it all. I mean, how would people even fly Bengal Carriers at all, if they didn't?
I remember CR said in an episode of 10 for the Chairman that the warp tunnels will only have to be navigated for newly discovered jump points. Once you have successfully navigated a warp tunnel the data is saved to your ships computer and can be sold at stations or to other players.
@DEadliNE-Zero0:
Chris once said that even multiple Titans won't be able to handle multiple Bangal carriers blowing each on screen at once. It's a huge carrier, basically a hub world for Squadron 42.
Ew. Some of that shit looks like an N64 game. Are the devs using that kick starter dough on hookers and blow? Cuz this shit is 2 years late and still looks like trash. Lol remember too human?
