This is easily one of my most anticipated games of the year. I mean, the ability to play as darth vaders apprentice is every Star wars fans dream. Why be good when you can be evil and lay a swath of destruction across the galaxy. THE GAMES devs, Lucas Arts, said the game is going to be the same on bth platforms, which leaves Multiconsole owners with a very tough choice. You could pretty much flip a coin to decide there so similar. So which version would you get? I personally cant decide. I may get the PS3 version because I heard the Story that the PS3 may have been the Lead Platform for the game. not sure. Please correct me if im wrong. black_awpN1
Virtua fighter used the PS3 as its lead platform and that still turned out better on the 360 more and more games use the PS3 as the lead platform just because its easier to port games to the 360.

Wasnt there a article where they stated the PS3 version was just fine and that they were uusing it as the lead platform?
yeah something tells me they'll be about the same except we get achievements.paullywog
I read that alot of games are including acheivement systems in the ps3 versions of games for integration with Home. Is it confirmed this wont have any type of acheivements on ps3?

well when home actually launches and teh game actually have trophies or whatever then make an argument. Until then it is all wishful thinking.I get my multiplatform games on xbox 360 due to achievements, call me lame or whatever but I like em!spinecaton
Same here, and you're not lame you just like more replay value for games that's all.

Originally they were trying to get this game exclusive on the PS3 last year.....Sony opted not to pay for it though. I think it's safe to say though the PS3 was probably the lead platform based on that.
the 360 is the lead platform for this game. lucas arts said in the future they will have the ps3 as lead platform, because this game got delayed many times because of the ps3, and porting from 360 to ps3, doesnt work out as great. so yea in the future i think we all can expect good looking games on both consoles from lucasarts. just wait

I know because I bought the PS3 version for my dad, and textures looked significantly worse. Get it straight... devs will not tell you the truth about disparities between the 360 and PS3 versions because they don't want to burn bridges with the hardware manufactuers.
If it did lead on PS3, then that will probably look the best, though. All I'm saying is that the dev is the last person you want to ask these questions.

I have to agree, and I will definitely be getting this one for the PS3.
I doubt they'll be any online co-op or anything like that, but the replay value you get from achievements makes me lean towards getting it on the 360.

eh. im not sure on the Incentive to chase Points. Your not getting anything out of it? Whatever happened to playing games over again because they were fun?

Thats the thing, achievements is a game within a game. And achievements aren't just to "chase points" its the things you have to do to get those points. So maybe using your Force powers in killing 1000 enemies might give you an extra reason to kill 1000 enemies, and I think that just add more fun and replay value.
