Starcraft 2 = my life is complete

Now that Starcraft 2 has been announced, do you have any change of plans?

I think its time for me to abandon consoles gaming once and for all. This will be just like the good ol' days I had with the first Starcraft in the late 90's and I still play the first Starcraft.:D My dream has become reality!:D

I'm getting it and going to be gloating over another PC exclusive that console fanboys will never get to play.

Hell, this game has the potential to sell better and last longer than Halo 3. :o 

It doesn't have a major effect on me but I must admit the game looks pretty fun.

It's pretty funny seeing everyone so excited. It's made me start thinking about how awesome it's going to be when GTAIV is released.

If you've haven't played it than you shouldn't....and if you have and didn't like it, you must have not been very good.

I can tell you right now you won't see me around here a whole lot when the final games released, i was one of the custom map makers from the original and specialised in matrix, zombie and tower maps. Once the main campaign is complete i will start work on remaking the greatest matrix, zombie and tower maps of old with the new gameplay elements and units in mind, i mean the possibilities for zombie maps now with the worms combined with the zerglings new bomb technique is just gonna be fun in its own right. I can't wait to see what other new things they have in store for this game because i would love the ability to add custom soundtracks to maps.

Did you ever play the original for any amount of time? 

I will get my PC upgraded just before release. Hell, its about time!

I dont get why people always say that, I say that Halo 2 online is horrible and they say i must not be good at it, I wasnt but it didnt change the fact im really good at the Halo 3 beta when i get going, I already know why im doing better.

1) The graphics are better which makes me play better,

2) The controls are leaps and bounds better 

3) Wepons have been tweaked so you actually have to use some skill and not just the right wepoon

Dose this give me the right to say that Halo 2 had poor Mp, I think it does because i like games where if your not doing to good you know why and then you can improve and let skill come into it and if not i will fault the game for it and move onto a game which is setup better imo and then they will get my money.

So basicaly Halo2= Trash to me as maybe Starcraft to him.

It's in good hands. Blizzard is like Bioware who don't make crappy games.

Obviously you don't know anything about Blizzard's games if your complaining about the graphics.

But hey, have fun with tank rushing... I mean what else is there in C&C3 anyway?

C&C is CRAP compared to starcraft, you shoudnt even say those two games in the same sentence.

C&C is out, starcraft is in pre alpha. you phail

in halo you can just hop into a game and have fun. you just point and aim and sometimes you'll get a lucky kill.

in starcraft you have to know the game inside out. it takes years just to be able to have a decent macro/micro in addition to that you need to know how to scout, have a good bo and know how to manage ur economy, and know when to expo/when to attack/when to build when to power. if your new to SC then you will get destroyed by 4 pools/5 pools, cannon rushes, bunker rushes, muta harasses, etc before you even get your first expo. dont even try to compare fps to rts  let alone halo to starcraft. 

Blizzard has constantly and always defied the logic of "Better graphics = great game."  Every game they've released was playable on the majority of the PCs out in the market.  This always ment skimping on extra polygons and extra graphical effects.  They've always made up for that with increadable cinematics and music tracks, which were always were of the epic level for whatever time they did it.

If gaming is truely an art form, Blizzard is one of the few companies who do it right.  They balance as many aspects of their games as possible, including the graphical elements.  You know, instead of lumping on graphics, and more graphics, and even more graphics at the sacrafice of everything else about the game.

I still think Relic makes better RTS games now.
