Starcraft 2 will be so amazing that it will end the world.
Every single person in the world (weither you think you will or not) will buy 30 copies, and it'll crash the world economy, starting many wars and stuff... Then it's over once nukes are used.
Better - Starcraft 2
Bigger - Starcraft 2
More innovative - Crysis
More immersive - Crysis
My opinion - Starcraft 2

whats so innovative about crysis? giving you an ingame speed hack, and having amazing graphics?
graphics are overrated SC2 all the way it will be better in terms of gameplay sales and community. Remember a game called farcry that came out a few years ago's Multiplayer compared to a little game that came out 9 years ago called Starcraft. 2d > 3dÂ

I think the physics and scale of Crysis is fairly innovative, Starcraft II probably not so much as innovative as it will be near perfect form of an RTS, I mean Starcraft I was nearly perfect IMO. They will both be enjoyed by pc gamers all around.Â

Yes he did. Didn't he also say that the PS3 wasn't selling due to a sluggish economy? Or was that someone else? >_>[QUOTE="MantiCore2K8"]AOE > Starcraft

The heck I did.Â
Starcraft all the way... Bigger following... Going to be a more solid all around game (I mean for god sakes it blizzard we're talkin' about here :P). Even though you cannot technically compare the two because they are of a different genera. I guarantee that Starcraft will outsell Crysis, Crysis might have better graphics, All around gameplay I go with Starcraft. All and all Starcraft is long overdue and will shell shock any other PC game that tries to go against it that year.

What's innovative about Crysis? What's innovative about Starcraft 2? Not much in either category. I just went with the one that seemed to break more barriers. I'd say Crysis' continued focus on free-form gameplay and multiple permutations to the same gameplay experience is a sort of innovation, though they already did it with Far Cry - and STALKER did the same sort of thing. If they can take physics-based gameplay to the next level, as HL2 did before, that'll be a bullet point for them. I don't really believe that it'll happen, but if there's stuff like shooting out the tires of moving vehicles - that's never been done effectively in the way Crytek implies (i.e. vehicle loses tire, loses control, and will probably crash spectacularly in a non-scripted fashion - yeah, when pigs fly). That said, I really doubt Blizzard will innovate with SC2. Their line is almost never to innovate, but to polish what already exists to near perfection. Their games do not often really do anything truly new, they just make the best game possible with what's out there. Please Log In to post.
