Starfield vs Clockwork Revolution. Which MS FPS/RPG hybrid looks better of 2?

Clockwork looks like a forgettable 7/10 game.

It looks like Arkane immersive sim. if it was sony movie game you would hype but its MS game it must be bad.

Starfield gets my vote. Loved Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, and 4. Am hoping for something like that with the space setting and exploration. Very hyped for it.

More hyped for Starfield just because it releases sooner.

They both look great, but not sure when Clockwork revolution will actually release. Probably in a couple of years. So it's not clear how representative that trailer is. Starfield on the other hand looks really solid from the extensive footage shown. I'm also a bit more excited atm to play a space traveling game, then this sort of artistic fantasy sci-fi thing that CR has going.

but GOW 2018 is still one of the worst game I have played in years.

I will buy Starfield in a few years when there's a GOTY edition, and have no interest in Clockwork Revolution as it has a first person perspective, And if I wanted to play a game with powers to reverse time etc I would play Timeshift.

Clockwork Revolution is giving me Bioshock Infinite vibe and I really didn't like Bioshock Infinite so this doesn't help Clockwork Revolution case. I like Steampunk stuff but this isn't one of them and it looks like shit!

Also Final Doom which is roughly double the size of Doom I or II. Though opinion on it is divisive.

This is easily 50-60 years worth of gameplay at least.

I'm not a fan of the rpg games, and even less for western rpg games. But starfield is a game I will probably try out anyway, because of how ambitious it is.

So for me, clockwork is more my type of game.

Both games are great though.

as developer, making one of the most unique and ambitious space game no one ever made. and LOL star citizen which will never release and being coming since 2012. starfield is finish and coming in september.

Don't forget Doom 2 is getting Voxels soon, there is just something about seeing 2D sprites come to live as 3D models.

But I don't want to be mistaken but, isn't it a fact that games today offer way more content than say Duke 3D or Doom 2?

If you count a big bowl of repetitive busy work probably never feel motivated enough to finish or go back to again as more content, yes.

GameSpot will no doubt give both a 6/10 because they're on Xbox and Game Pass.
