woah this is pretty sweet! ive been wanting to get a mac laptop too. are blizzard games compatible with the mac os?Meowmixxvimost Blizzard titles are also on OSX, and this is good news that hopefully will bring a native Steam client in OSX and I've read online that they have hired OSX/Unix programmers supposedly to either create new games for OSX/Unix or port of Source games. Also hope they will actually offer OSX games in the Steam store that are currently for sale now since most are hard to find or cost a ton.

All games since Starcraft yes, but i don't know if for PPC or x86
Good for them, hopefully this will encourage more support.
Porting between PC and Mac is likely a lot easier than between PC and consoles. Bringing gaming to Mac could expand the computer gaming audience, which in turn would attract more development because of the higher potential sales.
How is that? It's like pointing out a difference between a mid-range card and a high-end card there isn't a point of course the higher-end card is going to render it better. The only thing that really is different is OpenGL vs. DirectX and that is a different debate all in its own.Now the mac fanboys are gonna eat this up and think that their games are gonna look better than someone who custom builds their pc. Well i hope this works out for the best for MAC lovers.

only game i have ever bough for my mac is Red Alert 3. other then that anything else i want to play i play on the 360/Ps3. none the less its a good move and hopefully some casuals jump on and buy a game or two
lulz No. Besides, when they take as long as they do to make a game, does it even matter anymore? If they did make it native, I'd probably re-install Steam.Longer development times?

Seems pointless to me. Macs can already run windows and no one really buys a mac with gaming in mind. For one the gaming hardware cost at least 3x as much as a PC.Jamex1987
There one diffrence, Mac have specified set of hardware and if you devlop something for it you can optimize it to that set ;] Console hardware already is old still games are poping up for it.
Also keep im mind if someone buy Mac it usally to get fully functional OS X, not to install Windows on it
