Steam Controller - A colossal flop, humanity full of shame...

- Flappers too large

- Accidentally pressing wrong buttons due to button size

- Thumb pads next to useless for FPS

-- Takes hours to configure, still not properly supported

- Only as a traditional pad is it good, and the Xbox's still being superior

- Can get a wooden block from a dumpster and use a mouse and keyboard on the couch

It appears much like Valve's boastfully touted SteamOS, which Windows 10 outperformed, it's equally touted steam controller is a mistake of life.

Well i don't think you need any other controller when you have Xone or 360 controller....these two are great and work well on PC, besides you have M&K.

About this one, i should hold it and play with it first.

Looks sweet, happy they installed motion controls on it, cant wait to get one. That customization is off the chain.

Can this controller play a rts decently.

Perhaps with turn based games as dexterity is less of a concern.

Wow. A review done by a channel with 30k subscribers with 12k views in total. The entire world is in grief.

Figured as much...now the Elite controller feels like God himself made it.

Their content is spread out among other accounts and formats. They have many paid subscribers and viewers on Twitch as well.

EDIT: Also, uninspiredcup is baiting, they didn't say it's a colossal flop - they actually praised Valve for their attempt at something new, meaning they're open to the idea of improved iterations.

What the **** were they thinking having a touch screen like pad instead of joysticks?

The steam controller is garbage. I preordered one. I tried to give it away to someone who had a steam link and they wouldn't take it. I love my steam, but the controller is outright garbage in its current form.

Wait................so you watched these two absolute nerds talk about their personal experience with this controller, and made a thread blasting it? As if you have any experience with it? You don't, but tweedle bald and tweedle fat do so all is legit?

Its kinda crazy that KBM has become such an insane control scheme for FPS, since it was designed for desktop apps.

Controllers and specially the steam one are leaps and bounds away from it. Its sad that people think the controller is a better FPS control scheme, just because its all they've known.

Theres a reason FPS cross-plat play with a PC-console has been rare to nothing. When it does happen, well yea. Its short-lived.

Just the way that it is.

I'm sick of hearing about the Steam controller and Steam Machines. I want to hear more about Valves new engine, and I want them to get back into game development. Remember when Valve made games? It's been awhile now...

I kind of wanted one just so I could use the track pad out of games... but I just got an xone controller and wireless receiver instead.

Anyway, I've been enjoying using my Steam Controller. I'll use it for some games, the XBone for others, and KB/M for some games. PC gaming is great, I love having options and not being forced to use one specific controller. :)

Ha...I still use the 360 controller on my PC.
