Just bought Trials Evolution: Gold Edition for £4 from Flash Sales.
It would have been £30 if it's a console game. PC gaming saves me so much money.

Far Cry 3 is $7,49 on Amazon. Should I get it? I never played the third one.
Also, Battlefield Bad Company 2 is 1€ on Origin.
Help me System Wars. Should I get Far Cry 3 for $7,49 on Amazon, or Van Helsing for 3,73€ on Steam? I like both shooters and action RPGs.

Origin regional pricing sucks so hard: BF4 for me would be over $40

Go for it, Far Cry 3 is the best Far Cry game of them all. It improves a lot upon the second one (which left a lot to be improved) and it's an amazing open world game.

indeed.
best i can do is $30USD from gamestop, or $35USD from amazon. I enter a borderlinx US address, and they let me buy.
Origin seems to go by IP address, so changes to New Zealand pricing.
You're in Belgium eh?
Anything on AC4?
It's $35 on Amazon.
Sweet! Thanks for all that. I got BF4 so far. AC4 is still on the fence.
New cool deals:
Dishonored $7,49 on Gamefly. Only in Canada and United States.
Fallout 3 $2,49 on Gamefly. Only in Canada and United States.
Torchlight 2 €4.74 on GamersGate.
Chivalry €4.87 on GMG.
indeed.

Yup, the only thing I ever bought from Origin is Battlefield 3 Premium edition. Their 'normal prices' for games range from 59.99 to 69.99 which is absolutely absurd (at least 20 euro more expensive than their competitors) so I don't see myself buying much on origin. BF4 is pretty cheap now, but if they can offer a way better deal for Americans, I don't see myself buying it, I'll just wait for a better deal from some other store.
Also their regional store thing bugs the hell out of me because everything is in French and I can't change it. I speak it just fine but if they are going to go through the trouble of making everything regional they should do it right.
But hey, it's their loss really: there are so many great competitors offering sales out there, I don't mind ignoring Origin and digital EA games :)
@R4gn4r0k: Oh yeah. BF3/BF4 with premium is a lot of money. My gf 'needed' it day-1 on PC, $165 New Zealand dollars. Whereas I bought Batman Arkham Bananas for ~$30NZD, also day 1. BF4 is a 'hundreds of hours' kind of game, though. She will extract a lot of value from the $165 purchase.
lol, EA, always stuffing something up. Amazing you can't change the language, I imagine for some people that would completely cripple the service.

I keep hearing about the absurd Australian prices, so I guess it's the same situation for you NZ guys: rip-off prices aren't an unusual thing ?
Well, there's about 6 million Dutch speaking people in Belgium and 4 million French speaking people, but the majority of people that speak Dutch also understand a good deal of French. It's just lazy they don't add a button to change the language like so many sites do. Personally I'm just not a fan of the fact that French people like to create their own words for everything English, and the computer and videogame world there are a lot of English words that they created their own words for. A lot of other languages just create hybrid words. But even better: just let me see you site in the original language: English, it's my preferred language when it comes to electronics and games, etc.
EDIT: @R4gn4r0k
I think in NZ we do ok on the gezicht of things. Luckily, our dollar is pretty good against the US Dollar (1usd=1.23nzd, it used to be 1usd=2nzd), so at the moment I love buying games in american dollars. I'm not so sure about Australia, but the aussie dollar is stronger again, so I think their local retail pricing is pretty bloody ridiculous.
Ah yes, I about Belgium's 'trilingual harmony'. Keep fighting the good fight, soldaat.
It's not exactly tied with PC gaming, but you cows and the rest with PS might be interested.

really bummed that the Dishonored DLC is almost as much as the game. Oh well, skip for now
The DLC came out this year (the last one only came out in August) so that explains why it has a smaller discount than the game. As is the case with everything on steam: the more recent, the smaller the discount.

Not a single game on my GOG wishlist is on sale. I've got about 25 games on there...
Of course I just got Chronicles of Riddick a few days ago. That's on sale today... Luckily I got it on sale for not much more money than the current sale price.
Looking out for a few games myself. The Wolf Among Us, Fez, Jade Empire, Divinity:Dragon Commander, Enslaved and Castlevania Lords of Shadow
CAG says:
"Beyond Two Souls and Last of Us will be $24.99 later as Lightning Deal, but they may go out fast"
CAG?, is this on PSN? and i'm guessing only the US store?.
CAG as Cheap Ass Gamer. Btw I have no idea, but I'm guessing the US store, yeah.
@Jamex1987:
Because these kind of threads were always part of System Wars. You have a problem with that?
Why is this in system wars and not over on the PC boards?
Because it's not solely a PC thread? There are some Playstation deals as well
Some interesting deals on G2Play (they're legit).
5% off your entire purchase on Newegg via your mobile device (I'm guessing US only).
PlayStation Vita 3G/Wifi is $149.99 at eBay via Newegg. (US only).
