Just don't do it. Forza 2 is a racing simulator and DiRT is like so opposite of that. So arcade, it's not even funny when people compare the two. Which shouldn't be possible anyway since they are not in the same genre... twice! An simulation race game and a arcade style off road game. Completely uncompareable.

Sure, you can like one of the two better. But when people say the gameplay in DiRT is better I sort off lose it.

Don't let it get to you. I've seen worse comparisons. At least as a 360 owner, you get to play both.

I agree.  DiRT might appeal to more people because of its arcade-like racing though.  Forza 2 is a racing simulator.  Depend on what type of gamer you are, you might like one over the other.  So I wouldn't compare DiRT with Forza 2.  I would rather compare DiRT > Motorstorm and Forza 2 > GTHD.

Forza is a fantastic game, but in terms of graphics, MS mustve been drunk when they certified something this horrifying looking. Seriously, the game's graphics are an insult to 360 owners.

I'm sorry, I have ALWAYS hated Forza. I wanted to like it, I really did! And its sad, cause the games were kind of deep. But the controls and the feel was so clunky and impresice! I hated it! It was as if it was designed for a steering wheel attachment, rather than a controller. So, IMO, based on Forza 1 and GT4, ....GT:HD > Forza 2.

why not compare them? they're two quality racers coming out close to each other on the same system. we have demos of both. seems like the perfect time to compare. i packed my 360 up cause i'm moving in a couple days so i haven't checked out DiRT yet, but last i checked, the Colin McRae series was also a sim. just happens to simulate a different type of racing.

I was thinking the same thing. From what I understand the series that DiRT comes from is a rally sim game and this is simply a slightly renamed sequel. Even if only slightly ont he arcady side to forza I would still say its comparable because they are both fairly realisitc racing sims even if DiRT is a tad ont eh arcade side. Althoguh I can understand how it can annoy you. Im sort of hte same way when people copare a traditional FPS to GeOW

how is a rally game...not a real racing sim? You realize this is an actually a motorsport albeit not a popular one here. lol and peopel are saying..why arent there like 4 cars at once or  something? They dont hold rally races side by side....

I can do so if I want to. They are both racers. Sheesh, you are just like those people who keep saying stop comparing Halo to Metroid Prime.
