Every time i go to shop i see PS4s and everyone can buy. Only Sony fanboy says: its out of stock... well it is not

I know, i was in my local GAME the other day, bought a new copy of doom 3 BFG for my billbox 360 and they had plenty in there

Out of stock or not it's selling like hot cakes, still. Sorry :/. But I guess something has to keep those Xbox Day One Editions company on those UK shelves though right? :)

the XB1 is currently outselling the Ps4 in the UK thanks to the titanfall bundle, the cows where using the excuse that the Ps4 was out of stock, i am just debunking there damage control.

Personally i believe it probably is outselling the PS4 at the moment but it's probably just a sales spike due to Titanfall but the saying the Ps4 is out of stock is just a flat out lie.

The first is probably a baseless assumption based on Amazon but the second is just a flat out lie.

There's been plenty of console bundles for a while but the base unit is still a pain to find, i keep an eye on a stock checked from time to time. I have a feeling the £350 SKU will be sold out by the end of the day on Tesco because i can't see them anywhere else.

It's not the same as all the SKUs being sold out but i'd say the base unit has been largely out of stock, even now after 3 months. Not entirely a myth but also much better than the X1 that's been available even at it's cheapest unit since launch.

Can anyone point me to the last time someone said the PS4 is out of stock in the UK? I'm trying to find this rumor that has to be debunked but can't find any.

Who knows... might be sold out again within a few days.. Consoles are delivered in batches to countries.. its not a constant stream. Don't count your chickens yet lems!!

@RedentSC: have you been on the boards lately every lem is in full damage control on here, they honestly make Xbox gamers look truly sad, not all of them but a good bunch who can't see facts straight up.

the stock sells out pretty quick. most stores across uk dont have them in stock and if they do its usually the bundles. the x1 has been readily available since christmas, most stores even have day one edition.

I'm buying a PS4 on Monday and haven't been able to find one in any high street stores in the North east of England. Phoned Game, Grainger, HMV, ASDA and Tescos and been told they're out of stock in all stores.

If you can correct me then great as I'll be able to get one but as far as I've tried they are sold out.

Edit: I did see one pre-owned in CEX last week but was £350 for base model and I wasn't prepared to but second hand.

Could you maybe no talk about sales because PS4 has been released in way more countries. Here where i live PS4 have been released and Xbox One will only get here in June.

Let me get this straight. The only source you have that X1 is outselling ps4 is Amazon numbers, yet Amazon is sold out of PS4. No one ever said all of UK was sold out of PS4, they just said that claiming ownage because of Amazon sales was silly because PS4 isn't even available to buy right now on their site.

You can find them in store at GAME no doubt (saw a good few a couple of days ago), but maybe you should remove the GAME link cause it clearly says pre-order on the site and the pre owned are out of stock, you don't want people to think you don't actually look at your sources or anything...

It was out of stock for most of the time since it launched. Idk about now though but it's a no brainer that they was selling it for 700 even 800 online. Why would they do that if it was in stock everywhere.. oh wait.... it wasn't... 1 + 1. Go back to basics, it might be in stock now though but i haven't seem claims that it has been out of stock around here for a few weeks.

I believe it is but i have no solid proof so it's still just a baseless assumption, even on my part because what i believe cannot be confirmed and i am bound to the same rules of evidence as everyone else on this board, i highly expect a sales spike with titanfall because it's been hyped to hell and back and this sort of thing happens all the time.

The ps3 was consistently outsold by the 360 in the UK except when Major blockbuster titles like UC, GT or killzone where released and for a short while the trend was reversed and i have no reason to believe the same thing will not happen with the XB1 and titanfall.

But, like i said it's just something i believe and i may have worded my posts wrong because i was in a hurry to get to a meeting at the kids school and was trying to get the housework done at the same time.

The thing is... that even after MS releases in all those other countries it probably STILL wont be enough to even offset the PS4 sales in Japan. Most of the countries they haven't released in are dominated by SONY. Not that it matters... I'm just tired of hearing the whole "SONY is only winning because they have released in more territories" bid. I'm curious to know how many PS4's have sold n japan now... probably easily over 500k.

Ps4 sales in japan have not been that good, 322,000 the last i heard, japan is a much smaller console market than the US or even the UK, obviously world wide the Ps4 will outsell the Xb1 and i agree that releasing in more territorys is irrelevent really especially when you factor in the fact that the Ps4 has been consistently outselling the XB1 territorys that the XB1 has been released in.

Every online store where I am from has been outsold for weeks now. Same applies to the retail stores, can't get a hold of a PS4 anywhere.

PS4 sales in Japan have not been that good?! the only two consoles that sold more in the same time period were PS2 and Wii, which sold around 500K and 370K respectively I believe. What do those two consoles have in common? They went on to sell more than 100 million consoles..

i meant in relation to other countrys dude, i know it's pretty good for japan but it's a small percentage of overall Ps4 sales, i also expect sales of the XB1 in 'all the other countrys' as you put it to easily offset japanese sales numbers, they still have quite a few regions to release in

The PS4 was out of stock in US for January and still sold double of what the xbox one sold,how in hell do you think that happen.? yeah is call getting units,the problem is how fast they sell.

Is like you completely miss what happen last gen,Japan was one of the reason why the PS3 was able to stay close to the xbox 360,oh and the PS3 sold 88K on launch in japan,the PS4 sold more than 3 times that,so i am sure it will beat PS3 total numbers when all is say and those,making sales on those other countries even harder to make up for Japan.

Yeah it hasn't been sold out since launch. We managed to pick one up with ease before right before christmas day.

Yeah... sorry I should have been more clear. What I am saying is that MOST of those countries will not come CLOSE to the sales of the PS4 in Japan... so I am saying the sales margin wont shrink by much. Just my prediction... I could be wrong though.

@tormentos: They don't go that quick dude, I supervise at a retail store in Michigan and we have had ten sitting in the lock up cage for a couple weeks now. I have seen some at my local Best Buy as well. I have both the PS4 and Xbox One, quit being a delusional fanboy, they're not sold out everywhere.

@delta3074: Went on-line at Tesco and can get the knack bundle on next day delivery. Shame I have to buy knack but it's great I can get one straight away. Cheers.

Been out of stock here in Tampa since launch. Got lukcy wifey surprised me with last week. She had to call/drive around for a day.
