stop using GS reviews as 'proof'.

bioshock's 9.0 does not 'prove' that it is worse than halo 3, which has a 9.5. a lot of you use GS scores to 'close' arguments. GS is one website, and their score system is incredibly systematic and predictable at that. just want to make a thread on this instead of a post; this crap REALLY aggrevates the hell out of me.

How about people stop using reviews in general?

nothing wrong using GS scores since we are on a GS board, It is System Wars don't get upset.

Unfortunately, logic (or anything that even kinda sorta looks like it) would never be allowed on SW. That's just the way it goes.

Every review should be used as reference. You don't really know until you play the game.

Bothe sides like to use gamespot when it benefits "their allys"( because sadly, the rules state gamespot is the only site that matters in arguments) and like to use gamerankings when it doesnt.

GameSpot not reviewing one of Wiis best games totally voids out any credibility or accuracy from using GS scores for ownage or bragging rights. Those days are over thanks to GameSpot dropping the ball this gen. We can still enjoy the forums and community though.

Depends what we are talking about. If somebody was to come in here and use it as proof that Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 is the best game of all time of course it doesn't count for much, but when it comes to games like Halo Wars there are legitimate criticisms that should be noted and the review is a decent one which takes an unbiased point of view.

I for not using reviews at all...Just enjoy the games you have. There is no need to argue about which game is better, because IT'S ALL OPINION. Reviews are just an OPINION. The dudes at GS that review games do not have a better opinion than I do, nor any one else. I think Silent Hill 2 is the greatest game ever made. Does that make it true? No. Does it make it false? Not to me. Does it blow KZ2, and Halo 3 away? To me it does. Arguing about games is a waste of time. This doesn't mean one can't talk about their opinion; people just need to stop stating it as fact.

Wanna know which console has the best games? Then ask yourself which console has the games you like, and then you have your answer. No one can tell you differently.
