At today's "Street Fighter IV and Beyond" panel, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono revealed that he and his team "haven't forgotten about Street Fighter III." As proof, Ono offered an announcement, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition.

"We're just starting to work on it," Ono said of the new version of Street Fighter III, so "It won't be out in the immediate future."

Wait this isn't downloadable? I'd pay 10 bucks max, 15 if it gets an HD remix.

Well of course Yoshinori hasn't forgotten about Street Fighter III. They still need to make about 10 more remakes for it. :P

Next up, Turbo Edition!

It sounds like they're finally done ruining Street Fighter II and have moved on to III. I'll stick to playing Third Strike on my Dreamcast. thanks.

Lightening fast Parry system plus online lag...this is going to be interesting.

I will buy every version available, most likely...sigh.

This should have happened before every other SF game released this gen.

I just cant play any SF game online. Doesnt feel right.

Ive got my DC set up now so theres no need for me to get this.

I have it on Dreamcast, It wasn't online.

I also had it on Xbox, but it wasn't very good online. It was okay, but not great...the lag. The Dreamcast did let you play as Gill though, which you could not do in the arcades years prior....subsequent PS2 and Xbox versions also allowed everything the Dreamcast version allowed.
